My family of 4 loved our 5 nights at Suorkear Villa. It is situated in a peaceful and calm environment only 5 minutes from the main area by tuk tuk, which is free on the way in. The pool is amazing and the food was excellent. My boys loved the outdoor pool table. All staff are welcoming, friendly and polite. Rooms have everything you need. Staff quickly and efficiently organised tours and other activities for us. Really enjoyed our time at the Villas.
Everything !!! The hotel and rooms are so beautiful, The breakfast is good with many choices, the pool and garden so nice and clean. Free tuk tuk to the town all the time. The staff was amazing!!! They are very kind and helpful, Angkor wat tours and tuk tuk driver so good. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends for sure.
We had an amazing time in the hotel. The staff was extremely kind! The hotel is clean and quiet! It is near the center but you can get away from the crowded city to have a great sleep and a swim in the pool. :) I would recommend it to anyone! :)
I had an amazing four nights at this hotel! This is a quiet place place to stay away from the busy city. I stayed here many times and they still do an amazing job! The rooms are very nice with amazing showers. Amazing pool and super nice staff. The hotel restaurant was fantastic! This is my favorite place to stay while visiting Siem Reap.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolute perfection. The room was huge and modern with a very nice shower, and good water pressure. But what set this place apart was the staff. They were incredible. They helped us set up a tuk tuk for Angkor Wat and they even helped us print our boarding passes! The pool is also incredible and the perfect way to cool off. We lay by the pool for hours just relaxing. Cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had here. We have been traveling for just under a month in se Asia and this has by far been our favorite place.
We spent 3 days in this hotel when visiting Siem Riep and we very much enjoyed our stay. It's a relaxing spot to come back after a day in temples. It's only 10 min drive to the city centre which is covered by the hotel. They have amazing pool and super pleasant staff. We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant and we also liked the food.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel to consider in busy Siem Reip. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the city centre. The hotel provides free tuk tuk rides (please tip the drivers) to the city upon request. The rooms are spacious, clean and have private balconies. The grounds are pretty and the hotel has a small pool which is quite refreshing and relaxing after a busy day of sight seeing. Breakfast is good and there are kettles in the rooms. The staff at this hotel are incredibly pleasant and helpful. You can arrange tours through the hotel and free airport transfers are offered. There are bikes at the hotel for use at no extra charge. This is a great hotel, small and quiet, but big on service in a busy tourist city.
As I want be fair I ll start with Good Point only 2 : The free snooker and the waitress are smiling And I ll prove by my pictures my coments. I booked Few month ago and they propose the pick up in airport. One week before arrived I shared with them the flight number and then as I read a comments that they forgot some customer , I have remind them the day before : THEY HAVE LOOSE MY FLIGHT(very good organisation!!!!) At my arrival for somebody who book a PRIVATE VILA with POOL, it took 10 min where they call boss and do not look at me so I ask what was the problem. They do not have VILLA so they propose us 2 rooms instead. I wasnot happy and Villa where full as they make Surbooking !!! ( they hide behind a reservation problem, but they knew since more a week I was coming…) . I needed negotiate to get a dinner , a late check out at 15:00 and 40 Dollar !!! and promise to get my villa the day after . I have complain to Agoda and the same day they Complain to them and I got my villa. I got my dinner (but need paid drink) . Night could be hard as no Mostiquo protection on bed . It was planned as I have a nce letter on my bed of my “small room “ instead my villa ! Regaridng the place , it s not clean, we have some cigarette near the private swiing pool while we not smoking and small kids can paly with it , Small swmiing pool are not clean also . there is water leackage in the bathroom and noise as villa are too near and especillay during chinese new year as lot of Chinese sleeping is diffuclt. The breakfast is mostly full everymorning and serve in plate. I have travelled a lot In my life (about 40 countries) and never get such disapointement especially as the rate as not CHEAP and you can have much better nearby
We loved our family villa with a private pool. 4 of us stayed in it (2 adults and 2 kids) comfortably. The main pool was great too. Free, easy tuk tuk to town, and cheap $3 tuk tuk back. Just take the address card with you because not all tuk tuks knew where it was. The hotel even recommended a great restaurant in town, although we found others on our own quite easily. The hotel arranged a tour guide, and we loved it. 2 Days of temples. Here is my only advice for someone doing the same or similar. Write down a list of the temples you want to see and discuss with the driver. We went assuming the driver knew best and while we had some ideas. We definitely could have done without the floating village, which might be very interesting during the wet season and it is actually "floating", but during the dry it is just OK. My main gripe with this tour of the floating village is that once you get out to the end of the village, they dock and ask if you want a mangrove tour and floating market - SAY NO THANKS! The mangroves are OK, but all they do is take you through a couple of mangroves and directly to some lady who tries to sell you some junk and then insults you if you won't buy it. One of us said no, and the mangrove boat lady then said we have to tip her. Frankly I was planning on tipping her, but by asking in a mean way it certainly reduced the tip. Do the floating village at your own risk knowing you will come away poorer. If I were to do it again, I might go to the floating village part, but I would definitely skip the little kayak mangrove tour. I suspect our guide got a significant kickback by taking us there. The other temples were great. Even crowded Angkor Wat was incredible. We did a secondary temple for sunrise, because of the crowds, but I might choose otherwise and go to Angkor Wat just to see it at sunrise if I were to do it again. The detail and preservation in Angkor Wat is incredible, but the other temples are just as nice. Go off the main track to others for some peace and quiet and spend some time at them. They are AMAZING. Yes, some are crowded, but others are not. I would go back to Suorkear, and I would spend more time. We might just do 1-2 temples per day and take our time (maybe just visit them with TukTuks too). Then relax by the pool in the afternoon and enjoy the city in the evening.
This is a comfortable hotel which offers peaceful accommodation. It has a nice pool, as well as bar (good cocktails!) and restaurant - convenient, but not fabulous cuisine.. The pool is a godsend after the massively touristy and crowded Angkor Wat temples and busy Siem Reap. Due to its odd location (in dark streets out of town) the hotel offers free tuk tuk transfers into Siem Reap, as well as free airport transfers. The staff are charming and ready to help. Rooms are clean and well appointed.
