Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and well appointed, and food at the restaurants, including breakfast, was excellent. Pool was good size and staff was very nice and accommodating. Most importantly, the concierge booked all of the tours and vehicles at short notice and was just really really nice and helpful. Everyone there was happy to have us and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. This was a trip we had wanted to take for years, the hotel made sure we only had great memories.

Staff are very nice. Need some training for the pool staff if this is a 5 star hotel. Spa staff need to clear away ALL the used pool towels at the front of the spa entrance, there are 2 girls at the entrance who sit & do nothing ALL day when there is a mountain of used towels 5 feet away. It’s the little details that matter !!when you state 5 STAR. my wife & I spent a week here & every night we were killing mosquitoes by the dozen. They are breeding in the bathrooms. I complained daily but to deaf ears !! Next day put back on my exterminating cloths & went to work. More mossies than the Florida swamps. If you are yet to arrive make sure you have a case of mossie spray & a filtered mask & suit. This hotel should have put me on the payroll !! The amount I killed was no joke. Also if you eat bananas bring your own , they never have them for breakfast. Apart from that the hotel is ok. Thanks James.

I cannot say enough about this resort! The aesthetics of this resort are stunning! Upon our arrival to Cambodia we were offered a complimentary shuttle to the hotel and we we welcomed by the staff as soon as we arrived. They came out to greet us and welcome us “home”. The check in process was seamless as we were taken to the welcome area and given tea and a Cambodian sweet while we waited. Andy, our concierge got everything together and then personally walked us through the hotel to familiarize us with the layout and then escorted us up to our room which was stunning and very comfortable. The resort offers several dining options, all of which are delightful and delicious. The buffet breakfast is complimentary and has so much to choose from for every liking. After several hours of touring Angkor Wat Temple Complex and the many other attractions in the area, we spent a lot of our down time at the poolside bar just enjoying the scenery. It was also our anniversary and Andy was kind enough to make us a reservation for an Asparsa Dinner Show which was also amazing! We even returned “home” one afternoon to a beautiful Anniversary message displayed on our bed of two swans with rose petals as well as a complimentary Tiramisu cake. I truly cannot express my gratitude to the wonderful staff at this resort! It was an amazing experience we will never forget!

Great room, amazing breakfast buffet and the hotel is overall well maintained. However, I had my laundry done and it was a small bag mostly underwear. Not more than 300g and the cost was $54. They give price list and it was my fault not to check but even in the most expensive countries it was not even half of this. I had lunch for $25 for a small plate. Massage is much more expensive with similar service elsewhere. So basically if you do not use extra services, it is a beautiful hotel. I also didnt realize it is 25 min walk to city center. I used their whatsapp service and havent received an answer so do not bother. Lastly, I saw a cockroach on the wall that freaked me out and I stayed up all night but havent seen anything else for 5 days. The only reason I am writing this comment is when I booked the hotel I read the reviews and seemed like a wonderful place. It is indeed a wonderful place if you don't use any extras which is not convenient for me to walk 25 mins to get a servive I need.

We had a great stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. Room was good size, clean, comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice with good shower pressure and hot water. Breakfast was amazing with many western and local food choices. Staff were attentive and helpful. Pool area was inviting and clean. Hotel is 10 minutes tuk tuk ride to the Angkor Watt temple, pub street and night market. We will definitely stay here again.
