Perfect Family Vacation Home

From the very onset of communication Zoe was a top tier Host! There is nothing that we could’ve imagined or wanted for that she did not already provide! To be honest, we are EXTREMELY picky .. having been a VEBO Host family for years with a similarly sized home on the ocean in Fla. FIVE STARS all around because this home exceeded our expectations on every level. The views are GORGEOUS- the comfort of the furnishings and layout are perfect for hosting a large multi generational family. With a toddler grandbaby the first floor bedroom, lounge and second kitchen and dining area were PERFECTION! Zoe has the home well stocked with anything you’ll need and things you didn’t know you’ll need! It has been our utmost pleasure staying in her Victoria home!! Thank you for being such an extraordinary hostess!!

Amazing views & comfy space

This house was great for all of us. We each had our own space, the 2 kitchens were very handy, and we found everything we needed inside.Super cozy and convenient distance to where we needed to go on the daily. Zoe was extremely is to deal with & very efficient at fixing a problem we had. So appreciated. Thank you and we will keep you in mind for our next family gathering.

Perfect place for family and friends

It was so clean. Zoe was so friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. 4 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with bunk beds and regular beds.

A peaceful spot for a gathering of friends

Zoe was very communicative, property was very clean and well cared for. Plenty of space for all 8 of us. Not far from Sydney at all. While you cannot access the beach from the property, there are a few public access points nearby. Make sure to consult a tide chart before going because there is not much beach at high tide at all. Note: The ferry terminal is very near this property. If you are a light sleeper, the rumbling of the boats might keep you up. On the other hand, it might lull you to sleep.

Just what we wanted

It asks for ages, and saying adults, is not quite correct. We are a group of senior ladies (72-86), who get together for our yearly getaway. This year there were 8 of us. A beautiful place to be, in Sydney. An ever changing waterfront ,view, was ours for our 4 day stay. Had all we could want. Walking paths in the bushes, everywhere, which we enjoyed each day!! Large table, in kitchen, where we could play board games/cards!! Cooked all our meals, in the well stocked kitchen, as we are “ old school”. We hope to return next year, as it was all we could ask for!!!

Wonderful vacation

The house was wonderful and right on the water. It has a sunroom with a beautiful ocean view. We thought being next to the ferries would be a drawback but it didn’t bother us at all. It was a great family vacation.

Great Views

Wonderful house with great views over the bay. Enjoyed watching the ferries come and go but did not like the constant hum of the ferry engines. Very clean and comfortable seating. Enjoyed nearby pub and sea kayaking

Perfect house for a large group

The house was perfect for our group of 11. It couldn't have been any closer to the ferry station. We sat on the patio and watched them come and go in the evenings. Check-in was very easy.

Great and so close

My son, grandson and I stayed a couple nights while fishing in the area. Zoe’s home was perfect and less than 10 minutes from Sidney and the airport, 5 minutes from the ferry at Swartz Bay. Very cozy and clean! Great stay!

Oasis on the ocean

A beautiful home to spend time with family after celebrating a family wedding. We loved watching the ferry and boats outside our window and there was so much room for us eight adults to enjoy. It had everything we needed and I would love to stay there again.

Amazing home, beautiful.

We were a group of six 30+ women who stayed together for several days to enjoy eachother's company and have a nice place by the water to relax and from which to do day trips. The place itself was absolutely beautiful and had so much character. It was huge and it was so nice to have a lot of space. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was very clean. We loved the solarium and saw a pod of 7 orcas thanks to the conveniently placed binoculars! We also used the karaoke room, so fun though you need to download an app or use youtube. It was very close to the ferry terminal, which is convenient if you plan on using them. The ferries were a bit loud in the morning, but that is to be expected. There are some nice local trails and lookouts to explore in North Sannich, and it was very close to the airport, Sidney, Butchart Gardens, and I'm sure a lot of other great amenities. It is about a 35 minute drive to Victoria which was great. Totally recommend, what a lovely place and accomodating host. Thank you!

Perfect family holiday

We had a wonderful family holiday with my 87 year old parents. The house was perfect for the 10 of us with lots of space for gathering, but also enough space to spread out and get quite time. The location is stunning, and ferry watching was daily activity.

Such a wonderful experience!

Zoe’s place is beyond amazing, and our family of 8 (1 fur baby) had such a wonderful time staying there! The house is clean, spacious and very cozy. There are so many thoughtful touches that make the house homey. And we loved how the unique designs in every room come together perfectly; you can really tell that Zoe had put in so much effort to make this home comfortable and welcoming. It was such a relaxed and comfortable stay, and we enjoyed every little detail this home has to offer. The beautiful sunset from the solarian, morning coffees together on the patio overlooking the ferry, and family time in the karaoke room… It was a therapeutic trip for all of us and we will definitely be coming back here again 😊

Paridise by the water

This home is outstanding as well as the view. We enjoyed watching the ⛴ coming and going. A bald eagle kept us company and rabbits entertained us. Bed were comfortable and there were plenty dishes etc as well as hreat appliances.We spent a day sotting and enjoying the property with a glass of vino.. Great accommodation.

Awesome Sibling Vacation

This house met all our needs for 7 people. The back patio was excellent to drink coffee, watch the ferries come and go, and we even had a doe and two fawns in the yard! It was very nice to have two kitchen areas with coffee makers. There were plenty of cups, glasses, silverware and plates. It was very quiet and relaxing after a couple days of walking around Butchart Gardens, the Butterfly Garden, Fisherman’s Wharf and Craigdarroch Castle. We would stay here again!

So Comforable

We loved the house. It was perfect for our family. It was so nice to get up in the morning and enjoy the great view. Our family was down on a extended family occasion and my only wish would have been to have more time to enjoy it.

Family reunion - pets included!

The close proximity to ferries and the airport made it easy for the family members traveling to the Island. The views were amazing and enjoyed watching the ferry traffic. The house had plenty of room for everyone to move around and the 2nd kitchen came in handy when making dinners for 9.
