The staff was very nice. Love how they do their breakfast! The hotel is a little older, no elevator. But only 2 floors. It’s very homey. I would stay here again!!

The building was a bit old and tired looking. The room was clean and quiet. The mattress was a bit soft for me, but I was able to get a decent night's sleep. We chose the hotel because of price and proximity to the SS Badger Dock. It was a decent value for the price.

We came up to Manitowoc to hike the Ice Age Trail. We stayed at this property for two nights with our 1-year-old. The price was fantastic and it was a comfortable and clean place for us to lay our heads at night. We were not disturbed by other guests at night. The air conditioner was loud and the mini fridge would hum or turn on/off periodically but after the first night we got used to the noise. Our 1-year-old slept soundly regardless. The complimentary breakfast was nice – we ordered the English muffin egg sandwiches each morning along with some sides. The portions are small, but nothing was wasted. There is a lovely outdoor seating area off the kitchen and another outdoor patio space in the front. The property was clean, and we liked the nautical theme – very on point for Manitowoc. The location was perfect for us as we did not want to be in the heart of Manitowoc. It’s close to everything you need including the downtown, eateries, and a Wal-Mart. The workout room was under construction when we stayed here. There is a game room with a large shuffleboard also on the property. We would stay here again if the price was the same – it was a great deal. We paid about $93 per night when we stayed in May 2025.

Front desk was extremely friendly. Room was hot and sticky couldn't seem to get the air conditioning to work right. Floor was very sticky and upon putting socks on next morning it was filthy. However bathroom and beds, no complaints comfortable and clean. Showed socks to front desk next morning they said they would have the room deep cleaned.
