Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Location is good.

The people! Especially Walter! The food and drinks were awesome!

The staff at the Gastonian is just lovely. Very helpful, welcoming, and kind. The rooms are gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. Highly recommend the Gastonian!

Pretty place to stay in the historic district. Friendly service with nice little touches such as wine and hourduerves in the parlor at 5:00. Also home made dessert put out each evening as well. We stayed on the second floor, which in addition to the steep steps getting into the inn, there were quite a few stairs each time coming and going. A disappointment for us, was the fireplace not working in our room. If thats important to you, I'd ask before booking. The location was fine if you are looking to be away from all the tourist areas, but still within a twenty minute walking distance. The pedicabs and uber were also used frequently. Both were very convenient as the employees are more than happy to help you with your transportation needs. Walter, who initially showed us our room was fantastic. He was more than helpful in answering our questions and offering his assistance. Overall it was a pleasant stay but I have stayed in other inns with prettier rooms and a little more attention to detail.

We stayed at the Gastonian on our way to Disney for our honeymoon. Meledy greeted us with the warmest welcome and check in was a breeze! She was very knowledgeable of the history of the Inn and shared so much with us. The dessert for us were lemon pecan cookies and they tasted delicious! The Christmas decor was also darling. The garden room was spacious and clean and the fireplace was so warm and cozy! Breakfast was brought to our room and was beyond 5 stars! The peaches glazed French toast was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!

The inn itself is magnificent, situated in historic Savannah. The staff cannot do enough for you. The complementary breakfasts, hors d’oeuvres before dinner and dessert when you return from dinner are delicious. Cannot recommend it more highly.

The Gastonian was amazing. The staff were incredible, room was beautiful and the chef was highly skilled.

This is a beautiful historical B&B. The room I stayed in was 106 which has an exterior entrance on the lower level of the building. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The only issues is that the kitchen and sitting room are above this room and you can hear all of the footsteps above which did get a little disturbing. Other than that the room and hotel were great!

Had a wonderful stay. Great breakfast and staff was very friendly. Would recommend to stay. In the historic district. We would definitely go back.

First trip to savannah for a surprise engagement proposal so I decided to stay at the gastonian. It has by far been the best experience I have had from any hotel I've ever stayed at. All staff members are very polite and friendly and they know exactly what you are looking for when you ask them a question. Rooms are very clean and I love the old creakiness of the floors. The breakfast provided was delicious!! I really am not good at describing things of this sort, but I highly recommend people stay at the gastonian at least once in their lifetime when they visit savannah.
