After researching way too many options we finally decided on East Bay Inn for our overnight visit to Savannah. What a great choice it was!! From the moment we walked in it just felt he way I had imagined. Laurie at the front desk was super nice, very helpful, and made us feel right at home. The offsite parking was comped, our room was large, well furnished, and clean. later at the bar, Hillary was also very nice and attentive and mixed great cocktails. The location was perfect if you want to enjoy the Historic area. Wish we were staying longer!

Property is boutique style with beautiful rooms and high ceilings. The old floors are incredible! Lots of construction in the area though which prevents you from sleeping in.

The property itself was great and conveniently located. However, we were given an accessible room on the first floor in a corner immediately next to a busy street corner. Since there are bars nearby, there was a lot of noise at all hours. In fact the hotel provided earplugs for use when we sleep. When I made the reservation months ago, I chose Deluxe King which was available. It seems unlikely that was only room available given how early I made the reservation. The staff should be sure to provide customers the room they reserved, especially since they needed to provide ear plugs for the alternative.

The overall history and preservation of the building is fabulous. Staff is very friendly and warm. Great perks with the stay, discounts off dining options, snacks and drinks for the room and my favorite touch, robes for that homey feel. The East Bay Inn is located in a preferred location for those visitors interested in visiting the waterfront as well as walking for visitors interested in walking the city. The East Bay Inn employees were all so friendly and kind. The room wad well sized and with comfortable amenities.
