Loved Sapporo❤️🗻

My friend and I really enjoyed The Sapporo Prince. It was a great hotel very close to everything within a 2-5 minute walk. The room was spotless and had a great view of the city. Everyone was helpful and friendly in the hotel, plus there was a free shuttle to Sapporo Station which we took advantage of two times during our stay. Another perk was the delicious buffet. It had both Japanese & western dishes. My favorite was the local Sapporo soup curry. Excellent stay overall and would return again in the future!

I thought I'd prepaid breakfast for the following morning confirmed this with the agent when I checked in. But in the morning, I was told I hadn't prepaid was required to pay. I couldn't find any documentation that I had prepaid, so have to assume I was in the wrong, but it would have been useful to have this information at checkin. Average and not recommended

Average hotel in Sapporo. Room was small but it was expected for Japan. However, there were a lot of unexpected charges which I hope hotels dot com take note. None of this was in the description. 1. Breakfast was JPY 3000 per person per day. 2. To use the fitness center, you need to pay JPY 2000 per person per day 3. To use the onsen, you need to pay JPY 1000 per person per day I was really looking forward to the stay but all the extra fees really caught me off guard. Breakfast was expected but not for the other expenses. Disappointing for a Prince Hotel chain.

Near Odori Park

We had a good stay overall. They had a good buffet. The room was a bit small, as most rooms are in Japan, but it was clean. Only complaint was that there was a smell in the bathroom, probably from the bathroom curtain not being changed out at least weekly.

Snow Festival stay

We came for the Sapporo Snow Festival and this hotel was in a great location for our trip. Aside from being walking distance, the near by tram stops made it easy to have excursions to other parts of the city, like to Susukino for example.
