I've arrived at the hotel closer to 11AM, but the host said I should wait until 1 hour to check in. He was kind giving me a guest internet password. At noon, I went back to the front desk and ask to check in (again) and another host said that I was informed wrongly by the firs host and my check in would be only available after 2PM... They even offered me the restaurant services. They kept my bags so I could go to a restaurant close by and have lunch, making sure to return after 2PM. I could check in this time. Breakfast was good. All staff were very polite.

This is a business hotel in a very good location in Sao Paulo. Nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. A large shopping mall 15 minutes walking. Hotel staff very friendly, specially breakfast staff, house keeping and front desk. The hotel needs to be renovated, specially the rooms. They look dated and could use some updates. Bathroom towels are paper thin ! They need to change shower heads ASAP !!! Wifi is free, but not very reliable. I regularly stay in this hotel mostly due to its great location. I would be prepared to pay a bit more if the rooms were updated.

Estanplaza Ibiraquera is a good hotel for short business stays. Very close to Congonhas airport, in a quieter street. Reception is simple with friendly staff. The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Breakfast is small but effective. Down aspects: the restaurant closes at 22:30 and you can't order anything, even room service, after that, TV channels are dubbed and there's no option for original language. The price is a bit steep (69 reais for chicken soup, £30!). Regardless, I recommend it for short stays.

I had already posted about Hotel Estanplaza Ibirapuera in Sao Paolo but due to a merging of accounts, it seems to have ended up showing only as a rating, so I must have selected the wrong option at that time. I stayed here for several nights in early April as a part of a one month meandering vacation to Brazil, traveling around. The Guarulhos Airport is (like all of Sao Paolo) huge. I was concerned about getting into the city in terms of transport (primarily safety, given what I had heard about Sao Paolo). Prior to my trip, I phoned the hotel and I was reassured that typically, people use the blue coop cab company. It seems to have a monopoly of airport to city business. I recall that the one way trip to the Hotel Estanplaza Ibirapuera cost about 200 reals or $Cdn 85.00 I found the front desk and all employees to be totally professional, courteous, and helpful and they went out of their way to assist me. (I lost my safe key and the level of help that they went to was extensive and most importantly greatly appreciated!) Thank you front desk – day and night shift!! They also speak English well enough to make the tourist feel comfortable. As I was only in Sao Paolo for a few days, and given the enormity of the city, I figured that the only way to get a sense of this gargantuan city was to hire a driver, and the front desk provided me with an excellent choice! The 4 hours cost me 350 reals or about $Canadian 150.00. Mind you, I could have taken a tour bus for a fraction of the price, but then I only would have seen a fraction of what my guide (named Napoleon) showed me. He has an absolute wealth of knowledge. He took me to the central market in downtown Sao Paolo, explained why there is height limitations on tall buildings in Sao Paolo, drove me to parks where there were amazing museums, took me to posh parts of town with $10 million + mansions. He drove me to have a view of the boat shaped hotel and up to its roof. We drove past innumerable churches. All that to say, I certainly got my money’s worth. I saw so much that I will only be able to piece it together, once I view all of the photos taken, when back home in Toronto! The city is humungous, full of energy, chaotic and a mostly continual traffic jam. The hotel food was good and dinners were part Smorgasbord, part waiter service. I recall that a hotel dinner cost about 115 reals or $ Cdn 50.00. You might chop off about $ Cdn 15.00 off the bill if you forego the glass of wine and dessert. On another night, I walked a couple of blocks to a restaurant, and the bill came to about 170 reals or about $ Cdn 70.00. Mind you, I had pork spare ribs stacked on my plate so high that I could only finish ¼ of them. Then there was a glass of wine and then dessert, so I could have reduced the bill by about $15.00 had I skipped the wine and dessert. Sao Paolo is an expensive city and you should budget at the high end of the price range, so as to avoid surprises. I felt entirely safe walking to and from the restaurant, and the Hotel Estanplaza Ibirapuera is in a good neighbourhood (Moema/Indianopolis part of town). There is a roof top pool at the hotel, which is the over-riding reason why I booked this hotel from the internet. However, the weather was not the best and I never even got up to the roof to view the pool, so I cannot comment on it, but it seemed nice from the photos. In all, my stay was very enjoyable, and the hotel rooms was good with nice bathroom. All of the hotel staff made my stay most enjoyable. If I return to Sao Paolo, I will definitely stay here the next time. Thank you

We stay there in Dec for one night but it was very good great rooms .there was 3 couples we were all pleased with the service and the breakfast was very good. Rooms were large and well furnished staff very helpful.they got us taxis to airport about 40 mins away good drivers but did not speak English but reasonable cost .thanks for making our stay the best

This was a bad experience, breakfast selection is poor, room was outdated, window insulation poor so I could hear traffic early in the morning. Worst than a budget hotel, the bell boys were the only thing of value.

I stayed 7 days at this hotel. Be prepared that the breakfast buffet is the same thing everyday just smaller on the weekends. The rooms are comfortable but show aging with cracks in the walls. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room service is ok but better food is along the street restaurants. Over all it was an OK place to stay

The hotel location, free parking, breakfast, the room size and comfort, the team kindness, everything goes well at the Estanplaza Ibirapuera. Maybe the only exception is the wi-fi, which doesn't work so well

The service at the hotel is very mixed. It doesn't seem to be a general rule. Some of the receptionists were really polites while the others could care less if you stayed there or not. I was very surprised with my arrival. It was very to the point no smiles . However on the next day there was a male receptionist who bent over backwards to help us. The parking service was superb as were the porters with our bags. They couldn't do enough, Breakfast was good especially the cooks who would were always checking the table to see if things were ok and replenishing it. However the waiters did not cater to our needs as there were no spoons for the coffe cups, no placemats etc. We had to keep asking a lot. One waiter kept always referring me to his colleagues. It is well located but needs very little to make it sio much better.

This is a good hotel with very good service. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. They serve a good breakfast and the room service is decent. In a large city with so many hotels finding a location that you can call home for a week is important. For this reason I recommend this hotel.
