Made welcome from the moment you arrive then greeted with a view you will remember forever. Rooms are built into cliff and have all you could ask for, cleaned daily to a high standard. Pool staff work hard to ensure all is perfect and nothing is a problem, restaurant provides a great selection breakfast and evening meal was 1st class. Again restaurant staff were fantastic and always on hand to assist. Cannot wait to go back.
Staying at this hotel was the highlight to our Greece trip! The staff here was absolutely incredible and made our trip so enjoyable. They recommended the perfect activities and restaurants and were super friendly & helpful. We really enjoyed the location of this hotel as well. It is between Imerovigli and Oia so it is in a nice secluded area but you can easily access the other towns. We ate at the Cliffside restaurant the first night we arrived and were blown away with the incredible views. In fact, everywhere in the San Antonio Suites has incredible views of the caldera. Everything far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our anniversary trip so special & memorable! We hope to be back again some day!
Fantastic views, very good food. staff are very helpful, rooms cleaned daily, towels changed twice a day, great spa. We had a great relaxing holiday, we think we have been to heaven and back. Thank you for a great holiday.
Staff was super friendly, and help us book places. View was a amazing, eating breakfast over that view of the caldara was a dream. Restaurant was amazing, offer Gluten free and vegan options. Dinner was really special over looking the view Perfect breakfast - really amazing, the chef even made me something special for being Vegan and gluten free every morning. there coffee is to die for. Room- we had a privet Jacuzzi, and the room it self was perfect. Spa- perfect, but you would need to book in advanced bc sometime they over book. All the price of the food and spa, were very reasonable also. Middle of both towns so really perfect place to be, but you would need to rent a car or atv to get around. If not they offer to help out as much as possible to make sure you get to your detestation and back to the hotel Wifi went in and out, but beside for that there is nothing bad to say about this place. Will i stay here again ? I dont think i would stay anywhere else, it was just to perfect, and excited my expectation by far. Thank you for being the best stay of our honey moon trip, you guys really made ie memorable. Hope to see you soon :)
I found out at the airport that we were going to Santorini for my 30th birthday. I had no idea where we were staying but when we arrived and walked in I immediately fell in love with the boutique hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and will do anything for you. On my actual birthday every member staff made an effort to say happy birthday. It's in a nice secluded area and a 10 min drive from both towns, so is perfect. The food is amazing and the restaurant views are out of this world. The room we stayed in was very pretty, we didn't want to leave. My only negative comment is that the pool is far too cold and stopped many guests wanting to get in. I will definately be returning to this hotel.
This was the most incredible place to stay hands down. The setting is something out of a dream. We kept saying this is heaven on earth. The staff were all top notch, especially George and Georgia in the restaurant. Made us feel so welcome. Some would say it's too isolated but we found its location perfect, away from the crowds in Oia or Fira but not very far to get to either. Next time we will rent a car or an ATV but this time we relied upon the front desk which was more than happy to arrange taxis for us to go wherever we wanted.
We stayed there last year and It was literally the most incredible place my wife and I have ever been. We were greeted in the lobby and given a glass of champagne and told to walk out on the patio to take in the view. The reason I chose San Antonio was because it's isolated, unlike all the other hotels in Santorini that are kinda cramped together. We were then given a tour and shown the room with the private outdoor Jacuzzi. I responded "oh that's nice" because I knew that was not the room I had booked. She responded "That's your room." We were so surprised to be upgraded! The food is to die for. The service is the best. Genuinely friendly people here. As a man I don't mind telling you while in that Jacuzzi, looking at the most incredible view in the world, it brought me to tears more than once. If you're going to Santorini, spend the money and stay here. You won't regret it I promise you.
We were immediately welcomed at reception by Hannah. Soon we were escorted to our rooms by Nikoleta. Wow these are amazing rooms cut into the side of the hill. We were shown around the room, then given a bottle of wine and a basket of beautiful fruit. We enjoyed the relaxing infinity pool and picturesque panorama view. Each morning for breakfast we were well cared for by Giorgio and Anna. Great food, great service and beautiful display. Throughout our stay we also appreciated Toula and Penelope. Our rooms were well refreshed each day. We can highly recommend San Antonio Suites for anyone coming to Santorini.
We stayed in San Antonio July 2016. I don't have the words to express my love of this place. We hope to go again next year 2018. It was heaven on earth. I couldn't believe such a place existed and I got to be part of this breathtaking place. I had to pinch my self that its real. Just stunning. The staff were so lovely, friendly and made you feel at home which made it even harder to leave. Its a must see.
Our stay at San Antonio was just wonderful. If I had to do over, I wouldn't have planned any activities while in Santorini (except for a hike to Skaros Rock and a hike to Oia) and instead, just stayed at the hotel the ENTIRE time.... and when you're in a place like Santorini, that's saying a lot! The view, the pool, the room-- you can't beat it! the pictures speak for themselves. We had great service at San Antonio. They arranged countless rides for us, answered a million questions we had, sent some mail for me, and other run of the mill type things but they were friendly and helpful the entire time. We were greeted with a welcome bottle of wine and some fruit which was extremely nice and was enjoyed on our private terrace. The pool is quiet which was amazing for honeymooners like us and for people looking to relax and enjoy the view. I would NOT recommend bringing kids here at all!! Breakfast was included and SO GOOD! It wasn't as traditionally greek as what we experienced at a wonderful hotel we stayed in on Crete, however it was very well prepared, fresh, tons of options and tasted amazing! It's serve-yourself style, however they will make your eggs and coffee to order. You eat at the bar which looks out over the sea and the view is incredible (duh!). We love love lovedddd the breakfast here! Just one single negative: The dinner restaurant on property is ridiculously priced. The prices rival those at some of the top spots in Oia (we ate at Athenian House who's chef is on Master Chef and the prices were similar!) and during our stay the restaurant was completely dead every single night.... hmm... I don't know if this is because people felt similarly about the prices or if the restaurant just isn't popular but it made us wonder why they were charging so much if people didn't seem to even want to be bothered eating there... since San Antonio is not in a main town and not walking distance to anything, if you're not feeling the prices at their restaurant, you will need to take a cab to get to dinner. San Antonio will gladly hook you up with a taxi but it was usually around 20 euro each way to get anywhere which adds up pretty fast. However, we did like the secludedness of the hotel and were VERY GLAD we had opted not to stay in Oia where it didn't seem as private or peaceful. So you have to "pick your poison" I guess! For us, we would do it again. The room we stayed in was gorgeous!!!! we stayed in the junior suite with a sea view. No regrets about our room. We were located close to the pool but not directly on the pool which was nice as it gave us privacy yet was still really close so we could pop out to the pool, to breakfast or to the lobby in literally no time at all. I do not think I personally would have liked one of the rooms directly on the pool though and that's because, #1 your sea view is obstructed by the pool (which is stunning, yes, but you're in santorini so I am assuming you want to see the sea!) and #2, the lack of privacy. we liked sleeping with our windows and doors open but probably wouldn't have done so if we had been by the pool where there is clearly a lot more activity not only with guests but also staff walking around. We also laid on the lounger on our terrace and relaxed one evening and it felt amazing cause it seemed like we were all alone with the view but of course if you were located by the pool you loose some of that secluded feeling. Personal preference, i guess! We 100% would stay at San Antonio again! Please look at the pictures I attached to this review as, like I said, they speak for themselves. Just amazing.
