My wife and I stayed at the Kirini for our honeymoon, and it was a phenomenal experience. Upon arrival, we found a personalized welcome note and bottle of wine waiting in our room. Each morning, we came down to the complimentary breakfast, which featured a decadent European-style buffet and made-to-order entrees. The concierge, Fotini, was extremely knowledgeable, and helped us design our vacation from start to finish. She recommended amazing local restaurants, and provided some great insight into activities that fit exactly the experience we wanted. The entire staff, especially George, were spectacularly accommodating and kind. You can tell from the moment you walk into the hotel that the guests’ experience is the top priority. Most of the staff speak multiple languages, and did their best to answer every question we had. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the housekeepers visit twice per day, which kept everything picturesque during our whole stay. Situated on the eastern edge of Oia, Kirini has no other hotels above or below it on the cliffs, which allows for unobstructed views of the caldera and the sunset. Indoor pools are not heated unfortunately, but do have jets. Bathrooms are like all the others on Santorini, the toilet’s pipes are too small to handle toilet paper. However, the frequent visits from housekeeping address the second-order effects of this issue. Highly recommended for romantic getaways or honeymoons.
We stayed here in October and I have to say this was the most welcoming, accommodating, beautiful hotel! All of the staff are so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was so clean and airy, and had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the sea - something beautiful to wake up to each morning! We enjoyed buffet breakfasts outside. This holiday was like a dream. Thank you Kirini!
There's not much to say here except this place is perfect. The most incredible views, perfectly kept rooms, polite, attentive and friendly staff. Incredible facilities. The breakfast was the highlight of my day everyday. Thank you for making it the best honeymoon we could have hoped for.
The room is the greatest one I have ever had in my life! Stunning sunset was available in the room and around swimming pool. Excellent customer services was provided upon arrival and during breakfast time! Night room cleaning is available. Must be back next time!!
We stayed here as a couple in the Senior Suite upgraded by the hotel from a Junior Suite. These are spacious and so clean with fantastic amenities. Bulgari products and coffee machine were much appreciated by us. We had a breakfast I have no words to explain other than it was perfect. For dinner we utilised room service and had the prawns and a Greek salad - I've never eaten a Greek salad like this it was outstanding and to call it a salad is just wrong! Great position if you want a little bit of quiet but a quick ten minute flat walk to town. Highly recommend
Difficult to reach hotel by car after they changed the route in front of hotel to one way. The view was nice but less than expected as compared with imerovigli or fira. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable (possibly Ikea-like) and not upto 5 stars standards. The staff were mostly trainees /students especially in the restaurant (appeared overwhelmed and non-professional) . Every time we ordered breakfast in the room/balcony, they forgot something (juice or butter, salt and pepper …) or even when having breakfast at restaurant (buffet with limited choices) they offered you with orange or grapefruit juice only unless you ask specifically. Even they didn't offer omelettes station in buffet and when we asked about that , they forgot to give us the menue for it (you feel like asking them something very special). There were many insects and aunts in the room and balcony in first night and we asked house keeping lady to spray treatment for that and were gone. We asked concierge girl to book Ferry tickets to mykonos (as our plan after check out), she answered that it's better to do it by yourself from internet (despite our repeated requests to be made by hotel as we were not familiar with the process/ greek language) and ignored our request. Even with booking for sailing boat trip, concierge and reception staff were somehow confused (as if we were the first people going for that trip and did not show care nor professionalism to make us feel comfortable. We raised our concerns and unhappiness to the manager the night before checking out, she came next morning to our suite apologizing about those things and she tried to make some compensation as a result (she took off the extras from the bill) just before checkout. It was ok. But overall we didn't feel being helped or pampered and the staff was not well trained or up to the standards for 850€ per night hotel. We stayed last year in their sister hotel . " chromata " and was much better service and view (not in oia though).
Located in the magnificent town of Oia, Santorini on the rim edge of the caldera Kirini Suites is perfect. Located just far enough away from the tourist strip it allows easy access to the towns shopping about a 15 min. walk away. When visiting Santorini you are going to have climb steps and walk to see anything, that is part of what makes Santorini such a unique experience. The breakfast menu and restaurant at Kirini Suites are exceptional. Combined with wonderful staff and service that is absolute first class and the rooms, wonderful white cave like suites perfect for the complete Santorini experience. @tony.irving
Kirini is a beautiful hotel, in the beggining of Oia a few minutes walking from the main town . The room was very spacious and the staff is the star of the hotel. From the reception to the restaurant they are all very polite, generous and always available. I would definately recommend Kirini to everyone and I will come back for sure next year!
Only stayed for 2 nights unfortunately. Stunning property with perfect views and 5 minute walk to Oia. Our room was beautiful, huge terrace to relax on, bottle of wine and fruit platter in the room on arrival too! Pool area was lovely with plenty of sun beds and shades. Breakfast at the hotel was incredible, everything you could wish for. Had lunch one day too, again delicious, the hotel must have an excellent chef! Would def return to Kirini or perhaps one of their sister hotels.
Of all the places I've been in the entire world this unique hotel offers the best possible views of the Caldera, Oia and breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen. Combined with an absolute spectacular service level from every staff member this place offers the very best that money can buy. It's romance with a capital R. It's unique layout does require quite a few stairs to be conquered so being somewhat in shape is a big plus. The pool and the spa are exquisite and the breakfast buffet top notch with a lot of tasty local fare. Staying here was the experience of a life time. This type of setting and luxury doesn't come cheap but it's worth every penny !
