My sister and I spent 10 days touring through Greece, and we ended our trip in Santorini. Although I would have rather spent the time in this amazing hotel room with my boyfriend we made the best of it lol. There was a Hot tub on the balcony, and we had a breakfast table there where we drank out Frappe every morning and took in the Aegean Sea. Which, btw, is a shade of blue that only a picture can capture. Apparently the water has that blue hue because the Algae cannot live in the water there- so there is no green tint. I mean- it looks like something out of a coloring book its so blue. The slopes of the island are covered in white buildings and quaint hotels. We got a good rate on this hotel and rented scooters from Santorini Cab and drive around the whole island. We were allowed to park our scooters near the hotel entrance and they were safe at night, there was a little hill to walk up but nothing crazy. We went during off peak travel season so believe it or not, a majority of the island was closed- many restaurants and shops, etc. The hotel concierge was very friendly with requests and recommendations. The couch bed in the 1 BR room was very comfortable and I slept on it for 3 nights with no issues. There is not too much to do in town during off season, so I recommend going during the peak times so that your'e not bored.
Where to begin?! From the charming Lambrose carrying our luggage down the hill to Despina's spot on restaurant and activity recommendations, to our charming Opal suite with its stunning view, to the decadent breakfasts served on the balcony .... the Adamant Suites just got better and better. I'll remember showering while taking in the most amazing Caldera for the rest of my life. The suite was charmingly furnished with comfy furniture and lovely amenities. Loved, loved, LOVED this place! If you are going to stay in Fira, do yourself a HUGE favor and stay here! It's located so close to the main square you can get to Taxis and the bus easily, but far enough away that you feel you're in your own personal paradise. I'm fairly sure heaven might look like the Adamant Suites!
What a wonderful hotel. We stayed in the sapphire suite and it was lovely, so spacious. It was clean and comfortable. The views are breathtaking. We loved having our delicious breakfast served on our balcony every day. The sunsets from our balcony were amazing, we loved watching them from our jacuzzi. The location of Adamant suites was perfect, so quiet yet so close to all the restaurants and buses. The staff here are friendly and efficient. We enjoyed using the pool from the sister hotel next door but we loved getting the public bus across to Perissa beach to swim. We stayed 7 nights which was perfect, we could take our time sightseeing the island and also have time to relax on the black sand beach at Perissa. Thank you Despina, Tania and Lambros you all do a fantastic job and made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this hotel
beautiful location we stayed in the ruby sweet for my 65th birthday the view from the terrace was breath-taking and produced some beautiful sunsets (from the Jacuzzi). the sweet was immaculately clean and the standard was kept all week. the staff were friendly and very helpful. we had a romantic candlelight dinner on my birthday and the food was amazing as was the service. the ruby sweet was very private and we were never bothered by anyone. choose the vip transfers from the airport and you will be picked up in a nice air conditioned Mercedes. outside the adamant suites the bus service was great, always on time and very cheap. I recommend these suites and this island to anyone. annie & steve from England
Adamant suites was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend our honeymoon. Despina and Lambros are the best hosts, kind and personable. Despina welcomed us, made some recommendations for places to eat and things to do, and was available for anything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was so wonderful for us to enjoy it leisurely on our balcony overlooking the ocean. We stayed in the Aquamarine Suite, which has a private in room jacuzzi. It was perfect as the other rooms had outdoor jacuzzis, but it was quite windy and cool in the evenings, so it was nice to enjoy the jacuzzi and not be cold outside. Also, the jacuzzi has a huge picture window that opens so you can sit in your jacuzzi and enjoy the sunset. I also liked that it was a bit removed from the main center of Fira, nice and quiet but still less than 10 minutes to walk to the main strip in town. I would absolutely recommend Adamant Suites to anyone traveling to Santorini. Thank you Despina and Lambros!
My wife and I spent three days of our honeymoon in Greece in the Sapphire Suite at Adamant Suites. This hotel is top notch and without a doubt the most amazing and impressive hotel at which we have ever stayed. The view was breathtaking, the room was clean and gorgeous, and the breakfast that was served to our room every morning was delectable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like we were family for three days. Despina was an absolute joy to be around. We rented a car for a couple days and she recommended a local restaurant on the other side of the island. When we arrived, we estimated about 80 or 90 percent of the people were speaking Greek - definitely a local spot! We ordered everything she suggested and it was all incredible. Best calamari we've ever had. We also happened to be there during the annual fireworks show reenacting the volcano and were able to enjoy it from our balcony. It was the best view of the show and afterwords we had a great time chatting with Despina. Sorry it took so long to write this review, Despina. We loved everything about our stay here and hope to come back someday!
We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Fira: breathtaking view, excellent service, delicious breakfast!!! Despoina and Lampro we really thank you for making our stay so magical and special!!!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and to say we loved our stay here would be an understatement. We stayed in the aqua marine suite and enjoyed every minute of it! The view was breath taking. We had a smaller balcony compared to the other suites but our room was much more private compared to some so for us we were more than okay with the trade off. The large bathroom with the indoor jacuzzi was so nice! They have a sister hotel right next door with a pool and lounge chairs so we could go there anytime if we wanted to tan. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS. Our highlight was waking up every morning and eating breakfast on the balcony. It was so surreal and peaceful.. we literally sat out on the deck for a couple of hours each morning enjoying the view and serenity of it all before starting our day. You have a fantastic view of the caldera and sunset which is awesome since you can avoid the crowds. The staff was great and very helpful. Location was perfect as well. Super close to all the shops and restaurants yet you do not hear anything from the suites. We have zero complaints and would highly recommend booking here! When we go back to Santorini we will 100% be staying at Adamant Suites again. Definitely a hidden gem.
The staff is great. We stayed in the Emerald suite for 3 days celebrating my husband's birthday. Despina was able to arrange a surprise cake on my request at a short notice. The views are heavenly from the balcony. Lambros also went above and beyond to cater to our requests. Excellent Location. Main square/market/bus stand/taxi stand is 5-10 mins walking distance. It is also very close to the airport (10-15 driving time). Fira bus stand is a central location from where a bus can be caught to the main destinations on the island. Delicious breakfast. The rooms offer a private spot to observe gorgeous sunset.
The most awesome and memorable stay of my 55 years!! The views, the harbor, the sunset and yes.....the hot tub 😄 So blessed to have experienced the Ruby Suite at the Adamant Suites. Highly recommend for couples seeking the most unique and intimate experience.
