This place should be number 1 in Fira! They have the most amazing view of the Caldera. The breakfast is wonderful served to you on your balcony. It's like stepping into that beautiful painting and everyone is there to serve you! Roland (Lambos) and Despina here so helpful informing us of great places to go and places to eat! They both are so kind and go out of their way to make sure you are having the time of your life! We love this place!❤️ We will definitely be back to stay longer!
My husband and I stayed in the Aquamarine Suite for 5 nights. Breakfast was wonderful, the bed was comfy, the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the caldera was amazing and worth every penny we paid. The location was private and quiet but close enough to the bus station and shops and restaurants (3-5 min walk). Perfect spot to relax but also have access to the fun in the city center. If you book Aquamarine, however, be aware that the jacuzzi tub is inside the bathroom and creates a pretty steamy sauna-like bathroom upon entry at all times. That said, it was great to have the privacy of the tub inside the room as other rooms had visible tubs on the balcony. Overall, we loved our stay at Adamant and would recommend it.
We particularly wanted to share our negative experience in Adamant Suites Hotel. We are two young French girl friends, and we were really looking forward to spending our last night in this beautiful suite with a splendid view on the Caldera. Unfortunately, our hopes of spending the perfect last day of our trip to Greece were completely dashed when we met the reception woman, named “Despina”, who, by the way, is also the manager of the hotel, making the situation even more unacceptable when you consider how she spoke to us. First of all, we nicely asked her by email and on the phone if it was possible to have our breakfast on our arrival (9:30 a.m) because we wouldn’t be able to take it the next morning, knowing our flight was at 6:40 a.m. Despina answered that she would find a solution once we arrived. We finally arrived to the Hotel, thinking what a wonderful last day in Greece we were going to have, starting by a nice little breakfast. Surprisingly, nothing was planned for us. Despina talked to us very rudely and aggressively, unacceptable in a luxurious hotel. She explained that it wasn’t possible in any way to have breakfast served that day, and she made us understand that if we weren’t happy with that, we could leave. Absolutely no commercial gesture or apology was made. The morning of our departure, she promised us a few cakes, coffee and fresh orange juice. Effectively, we had two slices of industrial cake and some yoghourt. Considering that we had paid 460€ for the night, we were so disappointed. All of that could’ve been forgiven if the manager hadn’t been so unpleasant and unprofessional. The only positive reason that we will remember our stay in the Adamant Suite Hotel is for the wonderful view from our suite (Saphire Suite). We do not recommend this Hotel, and we are sure you will find other hotel suites in Santorini where you are made to feel like a valuable guest.
My wife and I just spent three nights in the Ruby Suite. Everything was excellent from the accommodation, setting, breakfast and the staff who looked after us. Location was also great, an easy walk into Fira in just a couple of minutes. Highly recommended!
We stayed in the Opal Suite which was spaceious and clean. The highlight is for sure the private balcony with a jacuzzi. The sunset view from there is better than the one in Oia. Despina and her staff were very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Lambros who served us the daily champagne breakfast on our balcony. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we can recommend this hotel to everyone who plans a holiday on Santorini.
We are a couple from the USA looking for a breathing taking location for our elopement ceremony. From my 1st interaction with the manger- Despina; she allayed all my fears & apprehension. She was a pleasure to work with and took excellent care of us. Everyone at Adamant Suites were such a pleasure and were all so friendly & helpful. Tatiana & Lazaros made everything perfect. From the delicious in room daily breakfast to helping with our luggage to our super clean and beautiful Suite. We had our private wedding ceremony on our balcony in the Diamond Suite which was breathing taking perfect in every way. All the staff at Adamant Suite are first class in all aspects & I highly recommend the Diamond Suite for its beautiful views.
Our experience was amazing; the view, the food, the suite, the customer service, and everything was just perfect. Despina Vraila was very helpful, friendly, and funny. She is simply the best receptionist in the world!!!!! The hotel's location was very good as well as it was close to the city center and everything we needed.
I felt compelled to write a review about my recent visit with my wife to the beautiful romantic island of Santorini. Our choice of accommodation was the Adamant Suites in Fira (Thira) and what a great choice we made. Adamant suites comprise of 5 luxury suites of various sizes and price, we chose the Emerald Suite which was perfect for our stay which was to celebrate 25 years of marriage. While we checked into our room we were treated to an ice cold glass of wine by the wonderful Tania (more about the brilliant staff later) we were then taken to our room. The suite had a large bedroom/ lounge area and a nice size bathroom with all the usual amenities. With our room we had a large terrace with a hot tub, table and chairs and sun loungers. The views from our suite were truly breathtaking and you could sit there in the hot tub for hours taking in the stunning scenery, which we duly did! Each morning we took our breakfast on our balcony, having filled out our choice of breakfast the evening before and at what time we wished to have breakfast, we had our beautifully presented food brought to our table by Lambros another fantastic member of staff who always took time to answer any questions about the island and the history of the volcano and of the many cruise ships that visited daily to the island. I can't quite describe the feeling of sitting each morning at our table looking out at the scenery......heaven! The last member of staff I wish to comment about was Despina, she made our holiday a truly memorable experience. Anything we asked for or requested she would do her upmost to make sure it happened, she was a funny lady and made us feel like a member of the family. On our last evening a couple below our suite were getting married on their balcony and we had front row seats to watch the ceremony, Despina brought to our table a couple of glasses of cold white wine and a fruit platter to make the experience and privilege of watching the wedding even more special. A brief description of Thira which I hope helps. Firstly Adamant suites is perfectly situated 5 mins slow walk from the main areas. A popular place for photography was outside the beautiful Cathedral, where again the scenery was breathtaking, with hundreds of restaurants and bars you are spoilt for choice and nearly everyone have a view to die for, especially at sunset. I would say Santorini is the most romantic place to go to and should definitely be on everyone's bucket list. The only thing I would make people aware of is anyone who are unable to walk very far or struggle to walk up steps of which there are many in Fira (Thira) then I would reconsider this as a destination. But this shouldn't put anyone off but is something to think about. If you want to explore the island which we did then I would recommend using the islands bus service. The bus terminal was situated at Fira and was approx a 10 minute walk from the Adamant suites, the bus terminal is somewhat chaotic! We used the bus to get to the black sandy beaches of Perissa and Perivalois (25 min journey) the latter being our favourite. The average cost to use the bus anywhere on the island was approx €2.50 compared to €25/30 by taxi. So finally I would like to say if you are thinking of visiting Santorini and Fira (Thira) then please stay at Adamant Suites, I can safely say you will most definitely not be disappointed. We were very lucky to be looked after by 3 amazing staff members Despina, Lambros and my favourite staff member Tania x, who all made our holiday a truly memorable one.
Loved our stay at Adamant Suites. Amazing views and service. We even got engaged on our balcony during sunset! It was nice waking up every morning to a wonderful view. We stayed at the Ruby Suite which is the only completely private suite, which we appreciated. We totally enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone.
Beautiful large suites with awesome bathroom, great shower and gorgeous views. It had the best blow dryer in all the places we stayed with the nicest shower. We stayed in the Sapphire Suite which doesn't have a lot of privacy but we didn't mind. Still has great views of the volcano and the beautiful blue water. Despina and her wonderful staff took care of us the minute we arrived. Despina made reservations for a dinner/sunset cruise and booked us a driver for a day who was knowledgeable about the Island and a really great guy. Our breakfast arrived at the time we requested every morning and was set up nicely on our patio. The food was really good. Make sure you order the fresh fruit platter. The fruit in Greece is amazing, so ripe and sweet. The suites are at the one end of Fira but still a short walk to all the shops and cable cars. The walk is not easy anywhere in Santorini. A lot of stairs and cobblestone steps and pathways. You really get a workout. But definitely worth it. I highly recommend Adamant Suites! The rooms are great but the service is outstanding.
