The Absolute Bliss is an amazing place to stay with excellent views of the sea. When we arrived, we were told that the rooms weren't ready yet and we had to wait quite a while for the rooms to be cleaned. The hotel is VERY strict about the check in time, so I do not recommend that you arrive prior to the check in time at this hotel. We had lunch while waiting to check in and the food was good. As we were checking in, we were offered an upgrade to the villa for an extra per night charge. My friend and I decided to do the upgrade, and we were so glad we did! The villa was amazing. We had a private pool (which we couldn't use since it was so cold outside), a steamroom, and a private hot tub. The villa was so beautiful and we had such a good stay in this room! The breakfast was great, and you are able to order anything you'd like (that's on the menu) and aren't limited to the number of food/drink items you order. I looked forward to breakfast each morning and we dined outside overlooking the sea a few of the mornings. My stay in Santorini was one of the most memorable and enjoyable in my life, and the Absolute Bliss was a great place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel!
Although late autumn this was one of the more luxurious hotels still open. Rooms are huge with bed and living rooms facing the ocean. The balconies are also huge with jacuzzi, tables and chairs plus loungers. Staff were also extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend this place.
Spent 4 relaxing nights here on our honeymoon, with a delicious complimentary breakfast delivered to the room every morning doubling as a wake-up call. Even in the off-season, plenty to do in Fira and Oia (20min and 2.5hr hikes respectively, or easily reached by rental vehicle). View is amazing, hotel staff took care of everything from booking cabs to carrying bags. Might not be for you if you're not into physical activity, at least after September, but we got more than our money's worth and loved it here.
Wow! This hotel was so magical, i just couldn't believe it with my own eyes. Whatever you see in pictures, that's exactly how it will be when you are there. The hotel is spacious and clean, good amenities (KORRES he-llo!!), the views are breathtaking, the pool was so much fun and the staff are top notch! Our favorite parts? the breakfast being delivered to your room each morning (so many choices they were hard to choose) and the views from our balcony. We enjoyed the FULL sunset show every evening. We got upgraded to a honeymoon suite after day one and had our own jacuzzi and massive balcony (with lay down chairs and umbrella) The main town Fira was around 25-30 minutes walk from the hotel which we didn't mind because you walk through the pathway with a constant view of all of Santorini. I hope we get to go back here one day, it was pure bliss :)
Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our recent honeymoon, Absolute Bliss was my fave. I can’t believe the hotel class is only 2/5 stars. We were greeted by a young man who carried our luggage down to reception and then the hostess arrived. We were offered whatever we wanted for welcome drinks and chose a frappe, which they happily made for us. Our room was lovely. The bed was pretty comfortable and the decorations were very nice. The bathroom was nice, with a huge shower area. They provide everything you could imagine needing - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body milk, shaving kit, dental kits, q-tips, make up remover wipes, face wash, after sun lotion, etc etc. They also sent a bottle of wine down for us for our welcome. They provide 3 large bottles of water free of charge too. There is wifi in the rooms which works great. There is room service with a pretty extensive menu available all day and into the night. We ordered Greek salad and baklava with ice cream one night and both dishes were incredible! Our room had a jacuzzi on the balcony, which was relatively private. The jacuzzi was clean and warm and worked great. The view was spectacular for the sunset, as well! The best part was the breakfast, hands down. Each day you are provided with a menu where you can choose as many breakfast foods as you want and the time you’d like it delivered to your room the following day. It was awesome - everything from French toast to different types of eggs, omelettes, types of yogurt, pastries, meats, fruits, veggies, EVERYTHING! And the quality of the food was amazing. I miss it already. Location-wise, Imerovigli is a bit out of the way. The hotel was approx a 5-10 min walk from Skaros Rock, if you like an easy hike. It is beautiful at sunset as well. It was a 2.5-3 hour stroll from Oia, if you feel like a more difficult but totally beautiful hike. There are not as many restaurants and businesses in Imerovigli as in Fira or Oia, which can be nice in its own way, but keep that in mind.
Stayed here for a week in the private villa for a special birthday. It was spectacular. Gorgeous views, spacious apartment and our own pool on a huge terrace. Sofia and her team were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The boys taking everything up and down all the steps to your apartment are amazing. We had lunch a dinner in the apartment a number of times and the food was superb. The location is perfect, a half hour walk into Fira. It was one of the best holidays I have ever had. Absolute bliss indeed!
Currently staying at this amazing hotel. The location is ideal, the views spectacular, and the accommodations are impressive. But more importantly, the people here are so welcoming and hospitable. We arrived after midnight and were met at the airport. Upon entering our room there was wine and some food in case we were hungry. Breakfast to order was delivered in the morning. Our original intention was to see as much of Santorini as we could, but really don't want to leave our private deck with pool.
What a beautiful part of the world...amazing friendly staff and a fantastic room with a fantastic view. I travel a lot for pleasure and work and stay in a lot of accommodation places but this hotel is just what it's names says...Absolute Bliss. On arrival after 30 hours travel and excessive delays we arrived at 10.30pm. The staff were delightful and suggested getting settled into our room and we can discuss everything in the morning when you are rested. They had a platter of amazing food prepared and a bottle of chilled wine ready in the room on arrival. The most amazing food...not juts a piece of fruit and cheese but a platter of arancini balls, meatballs just awesome. The room was cooled to the perfect temperature and the bed was delightfully comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts each morning were fantastic, so much to choose from delivered to your balcony. The view was spectacular! A bit of a walk to Thira, but great exercise and a spectacular view all the way. A small shop at the back entrance to purchase incidentals. A great pool area too and always happy to help book different trips. Absolutely loved my stay and have no hesitation in recommending it and would happily return. It was absolute bliss!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the experience was everything we hoped for and more! Sofia and her team were absolutely excellent in every way, the best service I have ever had (we went to the Maldives on our HM and the service was even better here). The only negative, the stairs going down/up to the Honeymoon suites and the pool are ALOT. We live in a 5 floor walk up so we are used to this but if you have any sort of medical issues or are not in good shape I would not recommend these rooms. A very strong man will carry all of your luggage down for you though so not to worry about that. We had booked the Elegant suite but were upgraded to the Honeymoon suite, which was amazing! Jacuzzi inside and hot tub outside, note the hot tubs at this resort are real "american" hot tubs that are above 100 degrees with jets (most of the hot tubs in Santorini are luke warm pools and with the windy conditions do not give the same "hot tub" feel. We had a sauna-like stand shower and comfortable king size bed. The room and balcony were huge! The breakfast is TO DIE FOR. You can order as much as you want (all included) and schedule the delivery time each morning so it shows up as you are waking up and lounging in your robe. The front desk is on call 24 hours a day and willing to help with whatever you need (reservations, directions, water refills, towels). You can walk to restaurants, stores and the ATV rental shop. We preferred Imerovigli to Oia. Oia was much more touristy and crowded. Imerovigli was the perfect location for us, it was much quieter and centrally located. We traveled easily to Oia, Fira, Perissa, Komari, Ammoudi Bay all on our ATV, nothing took over 35 minutes. We felt like we got to experience the whole island by staying here. Sofia kindly scheduled a transfer back to the airport as we didn't need one when we arrived. The only negative of the entire trip was the Santorini airport. Long lines to drop bags, security and then no where to sit and wait for your flight. try to spend as little time here as possible. All in all we would 100% go back again and stay at Absolute Bliss!
We stayed 7 night here. we loved the breakfast :). The suite are clean. everyday room service. people here are good people. everybody is helpful. view from suite are amazing. this one is worth it. will return again
