Anemomilos Hotel upgraded our vacation, giving us such luxury, with its beautiful rooms, and the Villas impressed us with the magnificent views of the Caldera... Each Villa has its own unique decoration and stylish design for an unforgettable experience. Guests also have the opportunity to taste Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the traditional delicacies of Santorini at the Anemomilos restaurant with really affordable prices. Congratulations to the owner Mr. Spyros Kokkalis! Thank you, Spyro! Νick Christine
Their food is outstanding and half the price of the restaurants with a view. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The food is flavorful and Chris was extremely helpful and accommodating. He made suggestions that improved our dining experience tremendously. Overall, if you want great food, eat here and save some money. You can also pay twice for average food, but a great view.
Everything was perfect. Location is great, just a little walk from OIA downtown, there is a market and a excursions reseller just crossing the street. The Villa is beautiful with a great swimming pool and hot tub inside the apartment. And Yiannis is great.
I stayed in the Anemomilos hotel for two nights while in Oia, Santorini. It was a very comfortable hotel, spotlessly clean with all the amenities necessary to make my stay a pleasant one. It is located at the quieter end of the main street which is nice to escape the crowds of tourist. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast as it was a very comprehensive menu that was served in the restaurant located next door to the hotel. I ate at the restaurant on other occasions and the food and service is excellent. A big shout out to Dimitris who goes over and above what is expected of him at the front desk. The information he provided for people like me who need a bit of guidance was invaluable. The hotel is not a luxury hotel, it does not look out of the main bay but it does have sea views and it is excellent value for what it provides. I highly recommend it.
We chose to stay at Anemomilos in part based on reviews, photos, and affordability. Our stay far exceeded any expectations that we had. We stayed in a superior suite which was immaculately clean, roomy, and comfortable. Our daily breakfast was so delicious with an assortment of hot dishes, pastries, and our favorite, incredible yogurt with honey, nuts, and dried fruits. We dined at the restaurant our first night and had the most delicious fresh fish we have ever had. I had seen a review here stating that those visitors had to force themselves to eat elsewhere just to try other places, but they wanted to eat at Anemomilos restaurant every night and I totally agree! Our second night we ate down in Amoundi and found their prices to be three times higher. It was a good meal, but we knew the quality and value of our restaurant and gladly chose to eat there on our last night. I only wish we could have spent a lot more time here. Dimitris, at the front desk, gave us daily information about the island and ideas for things that we could do. He is a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. The owner Spiros and his family made us feel the same. Our waiter Chris was excellent and interesting to talk with, giving us an idea of what life is like on Santorini. Yani was so pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again and again and hope to be able to do so.
My family stayed in the hotel for six nights. Our room was a cosy and clean double room with no outdoor hot tub. We had one in our bathroom instead. This room is more suitable for couples as there is no bathroom door, just a translucent curtain. Breakfast was a good spread. The hotel is around 10 min walk to Oia's famous streets. My family had a comfortable stay throughout the week despite a power failure during one of the nights. Power was back pretty fast. The receptionist gave us a remote control key to the barricade to the carpark. For guests of room 116, there is an area, seating and dining area, near the main swimming pool, that is reserved for you. I would recommend this hotel for its location, clean room and their very friendly receptionist.
If I could recommend this hotel a thousand times, so would I. Dimitris, you are an incredible person. Thank you for seeing me so well and also for booking the boat trip and transferring them to me. I simply loved the hotel from start to finish. The room is excellent, the location excellent, it is close to markets, pharmacies, shops and churches. The breakfast is very good with plenty of variety. I had dinner one day in the hotel restaurant and everything was great from start to finish. Great service. No doubt, an unforgettable experience :)
perfect staff!! My family and i visited this place last summer! Everything was excellent in this place! Perfect Hotel in a very nice island!! We had the best time.We will come back for sure. Thank you all!
Santorini is spectacular! Anemomilos is perfect location and cosy. Great pool. Would totally go back again! Staff were super helpful at check in and gave some really great dinner recommendations. We also had a lovely meal at their own restaurant.
We had a wonderful time at Anemomilos. They were very helpful at all times. They scheduled our pick up transportation on arrival and also on our departure day. Even though we arrived before midday, we were allowed to check in as our room was ready. We were provided with information on what to do on the island as well as with key information related to the hotel. Our room was specious for the two of us. It had a small fridge, a small tv, and we chose a room with sea view. We also got breakfast included every day, and we were glad we had the chance to have breakfast there. As it was a buffet, there were plenty of options to choose from, all of them were delicious and tasty. The hotel is in a great area. Although it is in Oia, it is not in the "crazy" area, but rather very close to all of those shops and restaurants. The hotel also has a swimming pool that looked lovely. We couldn't enjoy it as it was very windy and cold (we spent the last days of March there). There are also two car rental places nearby. It took us less than a five minutes walk to get to one, and renting a car was pretty simple and fast. I do recommend you bring an international driver's license and cash, as you could get discounted prices if you avoid paying with your credit card. I highly recommend Anemomilos if you are thinking of visiting Santorini. People are nice, rooms are clean, spacious and always smell good (even the hallways!), and the breakfast is very good. If we ever come back to Santorini, there is no doubt we will stay here again.
