The hotel is located in one of the busiest avenues in Santiago and there are no sound proof windows, so the noise is terrible. The hotel is quite old and requires a revamp. The service is below average.
This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful places from Santiago. We loved since the attendance to the services in general. Very nice breakfast and bar. The view from my 16º floor window was gorgeous.
I stayed at the lovely Hotel Regal Pacific from April 19th to 25th. I cannot say enough good things about my stay. The rooms are large, roomy and elegant with comfortable beds, soft lighting and nice bathrooms. The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff is excellent and most speak English. The location is excellent, with banks to exchange money, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The best part of the hotel is the gourmet La Fattoria restaurant! There is no need to eat anywhere else, as the chef at this restaurant is amazing! I had many meals here and each one more delicious than the next, with beautiful presentation. I highly recommend Hotel Regal Pacific!
Staff very helpful great location, a bit out from the city, but worth staying in thzt area as it was so clean. Fantastic park, great for walking. People of Chile very frindly, esay walking distance to shopping and food places. Hotel meals were great
We stayed 2 nights at the Regal Pacific Hotel in Santiago. This modern hotel is in an excellent location being literally a stones throw away from a metro line stop that goes directly into central Santiago. It is also opposite a reasonable shopping mall with an inexpensive food court and local shops, a few foreign currency exchange bureaus and great restaurants and walking areas behind the hotel. Our room was large with newly refurbished carpets and a good bathroom with a rain shower. We enjoyed the couple of complementary Pisco Sours given to us when we checked into the hotel. The Management try to bend over backwards to oblige especially the Concierge, Felipe Benavente, who painstakingly went out of his way to give us a full overview of Santiago's attractions and how to make the most of our short time there. I have given the hotel 5 stars even though I had a slight grievance that the hotel only had a happy hour (for the wonderful Piscos) during the week days which we missed as we stayed there over the weekend! Never mind, this was our third visit to Santiago and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this wonderful city yet again. We will definitely be back at the Regal Pacific when we are next in Santiago.

I stayed at this hotel because it is literally next door to our company office in Santiago. The biggest problem this hotel has is the staff - they have this attitude that they are doing you a favor. I had been advised it was safer to book a car from the airport, but I had forgotten to do so prior to my flight to Santiago. As soon as we landed in Santiago, I frantically called the hotel while we were taxiing to the gate. The first thing I did was admit that I had forgotten to book a car, and asked if they could possibly help me. They said they could, but when I could not email them or tell them my CC # (we were still taxiing to the gate) I was made to feel like I was putting the clerk out. Even though I had booked the room with a credit card, they refused to do anything until I gave them a credit card. Next, when I got there early, the clerk proudly informed me that my room was ready, but check in was at 3pm and that I would have to pay half a day to get into by room. All this with a huge smile on her face. That evening, after I had already gone to bed, I heard a weak knock on the door immediately followed by one of the hotel staff walking into my room. I told them to get out and immediately called the front desk. I did get an apology, but could not sleep the rest of the night. There is no way to lock the door to prevent it being opened. The next morning, I went down to breakfast and sat at one of the tables. No one approached me, so after about 5 minutes, I asked the host who was standing right in front of me, if I could get some coffee. At that point, he looked at me like I was from another planet and told me I could get it at the buffet. But the moment I decided I would NEVER set foot in this hotel again, was when I brought all this up to the manager at checkout and he informed me they had done nothing wrong. He said that all the employees had acted according to their policies. No apology, no attempt to make me happy, no excuses whatsoever. Clearly, this hotel does not take any interest in their customers other than to take their money. You even have to pay them to iron a shirt for you, because they do not supply an ironing board and iron in the room. They will not be getting any more of my money nor my company's.q
Although not situated near the centre of Santiago, it offers lots to do if you are there for a short period. It is close to the metro line and has its own fleet of taxis, which means you don't have to gamble with the local ones, which have their own problems. The rooms are terrific, the staff extremely friendly and most spoke very good English. Breakfast was excellent and the meals we had in the hotel offered good value for money and the portions were large. If you are a fish lover, try the mixed seafood risotto, it is out of this world. The concierge staff are very knowledgeable and will arrange all types of tours on your behalf. The one thing about the hotel and Santiago in general, is that no one pressurises you to do something you do not want to do. If you like walking, then there are parks and shopping malls within easy reach and the views to the Andes are spectacular. The only grumbles we have are related to the air con noise and the state of the shower.
A modern clean and very well run hotel in the La Condes area of Santiago, it is well placed next to a metro stop and a short walk to shops and restaurants. The reception and concierge staff are very friendly and proficient, helping us with some issues that we had. The room was a good size with large shower room and lovely views over the mountains. Air conditioning worked well. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was first class with excellent orange juice, a proper coffee machine and lovely scrambled eggs - which rarely survive in hotel breakfasts! We would certainly stay here again when back in Santiago
