Scratch the surface and you realize it is a façade
We had two accidents - my children ate something that resulted in them vomiting on the bed sheets the first night and them having bad diarrhea on the last night prior to leaving. After the first night, the bedsheets were not re-supplied, resulting in my kids only sleeping with a bed sheet throughout most of the trip. The owner persistently asked if I took the bed sheets to the beach- I never took any of her sheets or towels after she charged me a total of 1,600 MXN for the cleaning of the sheets.
