Puerta de India is a classic authentic adobe casita brimming with old Santa Fe charm. Located on a quiet street on Santa Fe’s Historic East Side, it is a quick walk away from Downtown Subscription (a revered local coffee shop), Garcia Street Books and Canyon Road’s fabulous restaurants and galleries. The hand carved front door, real adobe walls, brick floors, lots of windows. wood beamed ceilings, and two kiva fireplaces contribute to the cozy and inviting atmosphere.
LIVING AREA
The large great room contains a dining space, sofa, three chairs, a flat screen TV with a sound bar, and a lovely wine bar. The Kiva fireplace and leather reclining chair finish out the comfortable room.
KITCHEN
The clean modern kitchen is perfectly set up for a home cook. It features a range with two ovens, a stainless vent hood, wine cooler, disposal, farmhouse sink, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave.
BED AND BATH
The bedroom has a king bed, a large closet and dresser, and is surrounded by coveted mud & straw walls. The spacious and light filled bathroom features large shower with seamless glass doors, double vanity and a beautiful clerestory window.
OUTDOOR SPACE
The patio has a table and chairs and webber grill, perfect for outdoor cooking and dining. Through the gated latilla fence, you can access a lovely garden shaded by old trees, which contains a sofa, lounge chairs, and a dining table. This is a perfect spot for dinner, lounging with a glass of wine or savoring a good book.
