We enjoyed the Capitol Casita

It was extremely nice for my three retired friends, two women and one man. We played pickleball at Fort Marcy Park and ate at great restaurants. I enjoyed the house and I think my wife and friends did too. We enjoyed having our doxies with us, but I had to do more walking around the neighborhood as the backyard is small for dogs. That is a very minor wish. If other VRBO pet lovers come, I would want them to know. The house was perfect for the five adults.

Nice big house in a great location in Santa Fe. We had a group of 6 women and the house held us beautifully, and would have held several more comfortably. This is a 100 year old house, so it has a few quirks (like not all the air conditioning units are great), but overall the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house was very clean.

Fantastic

This historic house was perfect for our group, plenty of space both inside and out. The furnishing touches and amenities made it feel like home. The location was amazing- walking distance to the plaza, Canyon Rd., museums, shopping, and a grocery/ liquor store! All of this made our family get together so easy and comfortable. The VBRO contact was lovely and we appreciated the hands on hospitality. FANTASTIC!

Comfortable

We were 7 friends. The place is cozy although more lighting would have been great. On the other hand there are many outlets and the place is well furnished in everything one needs for daily life such as toiletry, cooking, umbrellas etc. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very close to the center.

Great location

The house was comfortable and very clean. We had everything we needed. The floors are super squeaky so early birds upstairs woke those in the basement. But everyone agreed it was a perfect place for our group of nine. We’d definitely come back.

Down Memory Lane

We stayed at Capitol Casa because it was very close to the Plaza and our first home on Canyon Rd. Our daughter was born in Santa Fe and we wanted her family to see the area. It was easy to visit the area from the house and it was roomy enough that when home the adults had the main floor and the 2 boys enjoyed the lower level as a room of their own. I have rented many houses but this one had the best equipped kitchen, the best dining area for size of group, and two lovely private outdoor spaces for gathering. Kristen was beyond helpful both before and during our stay. The family will never forget this family gathering.

Great Santa Fe Stay

We spent 6 nights at this property. Kristen was so great. Maybe we were just lucky but she was at the property when we rolled in from the ABQ airport. She stayed for 20 minutes and showed us all of the features of the home. There was plenty of room for 2 families (4 adults + 5 teenage girls). We never felt as if we were crowded in each others space. The location could not have been better. Literally a 3 block walk to the downtown area...maybe a 5 block walk to the start of Canyon Road. For those not familiar (we were not) the adobe homes in SF don't normally come with central air, but there were plenty of AC units scattered throughout the house so we were always comfortable. The front porch was a favorite relaxation spot as was the backyard that came with a hot tub. We loved our vacation to SF and so did the teenagers (have to be honest I was a little surprised how much they loved it). No issues at all.
