Room had a funny smell upon entry kept window open most of stay bathroom shower / tub was in poor condition clean but needing attention the bathroom door did not close without excessive force blinds in room still had damage from perhaps a dog and both hot tubs honestly were kept at such a low temperature it seems like a luke warm bath especially due to the jets poor power supply they don’t even bubble the water overall very average clean hotel for a reasonable price close to the boardwalk… be sure to extend thru your 3rd party if needed not the front desk or pay more than I felt hotel was worth on a weekday

Good location. Short walk to the ocean boardwalk and downtown. Nice to have a hot tub right outside our door. Property and rooms are dated but clean.

Comfortable and clean

The Ocean Pacific Lodge was great. The check-in was super quick. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave. The hotel is in a great location about 3 blocks from the pier/boardwalk and maybe 1/2 mile from downtown. I will stay here again.

Nice Place

Nice hotel that has been smartly renovated not too long ago. Big comfortable walk in shower. Dimmable room lights. Two hot tubs. Clean and comfortable room. Easily walkable to downtown or the Boardwalk.

Last minute solo getaway

Great stay at Ocean Pacific Lodge

I enjoyed my stay at the Ocean Pacific Lodge. The staff were very pleasant and professional. While just a few blocks from the beach, the street is a bit quieter, and easy walking distance to downtown Santa Cruz with more shopping, food, and entertainment off the boardwalk. Be sure to grab a coffee and breakfast wrap from the Pacific Point Market & Cafe across the street!
