Last Minute Booking - Not As Expected

We had to book last minute and were able to get a 2-bed room for 4. The rooms are very small & the beds take up nearly the entire space. There’s no closet, just a high wall-mounted hutch with hangers. Towels provided weren’t enough for 4 guests, though oddly, the bathroom sink did have a built-in bottle opener. The room had a musty smell that worsened when the A/C was on & made the room muggier (did notice other clients with their doors opened). The bed sheets, pillowcases, & room appeared clean overall. There was no iron available (front desk mentioned most were scorched). Front desk staff were polite, but not easy to reach when needed. Overall, this stay got us out of a pinch since closer places to our destination had no vacancies, but the cost felt high for what was provided. The online pictures are a bit misleading, and comfort was lacking. We’ll likely pay more next time for a better experience, and/or book way in advance elsewhere. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again.

Stayed overnight for a work event in Santa Barbara. The room was clean, but could use some upgrades to make it nicer. Early check-in incurs an additional fee, which was a little disappointing given I was less than an hour early from the 3pm check-in time. Also, late check-out is not available at this location. The staff seemed friendly, and the property allows pets for no extra fee, which is nice. Overall, it was low-cost and convenient.

Good if you just want to sleep overnight

Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. However off the beaten track - no local eateries - but a Seven-Eleven store and gas station within a minutes walk. The lady on reception - Dot - very helpful & friendly. Nice mountain backdrop to the loaction.
