Beautiful 2 BR Beachside Condo with Heated Pool Close to Everything Carpinteria!

Welcome to Carpinteria! We are just across the street from the beach, on the corner of Sandyland Road and Elm St. in the La Cabana complex. Discounts for longer stays and last minute bookings.

We love our condo and attentively care for it. We furnish it as we would our own home, as at times we like to stay here at ourselves. The condo has lots of sunlight, views of the mountains, and cross breezes (we are an end-unit.)

The unit is a completely and beautifully renovated 2 bdrm condo, one king, one queen, in a quiet complex- Pergo floors, granite counter tops, newly painted sky blue, tile bathroom floor. It is full of light, and is peaceful and comfortable. There is one bathroom with a tub and shower. We have fast WiFi and streaming TV services and a DVD player and large DVD collection. Laundry is not in the unit, but is onsite directly below our condo. The swimming pool is heated, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, There are gas grills and picnic tables for your use.

You can walk across the street to Carpinteria Beach, one of the loveliest, safest, cleanest beaches at the South Central Coast. We provide beach towels, beach chairs and toys to take over to the sand with you. Linden St. with shops and restaurants is one block over. The new Linden Square is a great place to visit for good food and shopping.

The wildlife refuge is a short walk and has excellent birding. The seal rookery is down the beach (though views are from the bluffs only during pup season.) Dolphins and whales swim offshore. Carpinteria is a lovely beachside town for walking around, with good restaurants, shops, parks, artists' shops, antique stores, and palm tree lined streets.

Santa Barbara is 15 minutes up Rt. 101, with many family activities and attractions: shops; zoo; botanical gardens; bike paths; watersports, art museum, natural history museum . Summerland is a great nearby town for antiquing and many wineries are nearby.

We aim for a reasonable rates. Note that there is a required Carpinteria 15% town tax and a cleaning fee. Discounts for longer stays, last minute bookings, and lower rates in the spring and fall and winter compared to the summer. Our Carpinteria rental license is 1046-VR-21.

Great week here in Carp

We recently stayed at this property for a week while attending a UCSB graduation, and our experience was nothing short of perfect. The location was ideal, allowing us to walk everywhere – from the grocery store and restaurants to trails overlooking the ocean and, most importantly, the beach. At low tide, we enjoyed an incredible 8-mile roundtrip walk on the beach, passing the seal sanctuary when the seals were out to sea.The accommodations were excellent. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with common staples like salt, sugar, and olive oil, which made our stay even more convenient. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and even cooked a few dinners, satisfying our college kid's craving for home-cooked meals. The property’s pool and laundry facilities were also a great bonus and were frequently used. I can't speak to the tv as we didn't turn it on the entire time. Communication with the owner was superb. He was very responsive and even came to assist us when we had trouble with the door keypad.Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely return if we have the opportunity. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed in all of the condo complexes now on Sandyland over the years and this unit and spot is now top of my list. The rental has everything you need and feels like a true home away from home. Love when the pantry has the essentials like oils, salt pepper spices etc. The unit feels well loved and taken care of. Walk everywhere. Pool was heated to perfection. And the beds were ultra comfortable. The host was super responsive and I know we’ll be back. My only tip would be to bring your own beach chairs and boogie boards. While the owner did provide them in the unit, the boards werent usable and the chairs were really well worn.
