Room compact but clean, good wifi throughout hotel. Bathroom small , bath has a shower curtain. I hate shower curtains! Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast available , looked substantial. Easy stroll to the beach, good position to walk to the old town.

I made a dud choice online for accommodation in Donostia - the charming guesthouse turned out to be a very ordinary Pensione up 6 flights of stairs with an unappealing shared bathroom. Entirely my fault, and a festival weekend to boot. But the immensely helpful tourism information centre found us a room with Hotel Europa and all was very well. A charming room with comfortable chairs, a reading nook in the bay window. Perfect. Well located for walking, shopping, sightseeing and eating. Pleasant staff, good breakfast options, and modestly priced. Turned our stay around and helped make it memorable.

This hotel in an excellent area, quite street and very close to the beach. Good size of rooms and bathrooms. Good WI-FI speed. very clean. Nice personal. Breakfast has a good selection. But a little overpriced.

The Husa Europa is excellently located two blocks from the beach (La Concha) and a few blocks from the lively old town. Aside from that, there is not much going for it. The rooms are very small - much smaller than the standard rooms we had in other parts of Spain, including Barcelona. The bath towels were almost threadbare. The breakfast was included in our rate, so we ate breakfast at the hotel. Although breakfast was fine, nearly half the platters used for food were chipped around the edges, and I bit down on a small piece of porcelain that had fallen into the food. When the staff finally acknowledged what it was, I received no apology - just the acknowledgment. We used glasses in the room for drinking, and the housekeeping staff never replaced the obviously dirty glasses, even though we were there for 4 nights.

located only steps walk to La Concha beach on a relatively quiet side street. it was a little bit hard to locate because the big sign at the front is "europa hotel" and we searched "Husa hotel"' . the staff is friendly, the room had an old fashioned style but with a french window we could enjoy a city view . the bath is large , lighted and airy. i would recommend to avoid the adjacent cafe' it not such food experience, preffer a place at the old town near by.

The hotel location could not be better, close to La Concha and few minutes walk to Casco Antiguo. Room was clean and quiet but old fashioned. To me, some works are needed to put it on a more modern style. I payed nearly 100 euros per night. I found this price abusive based on the hotel itself. Breakfast quality was good, spwcially tortilla de patatas, but once again too expensive unless you eat a lot. I recommend go outside and look for a cheaper place. In general, nothing remarkable. In my stay in Donostia I would try to find another place based on what you need to pay here

Spent two nights as a getaway. Enjoyed very much. Did not have a water view but very easy walk to promenade. All staff encountered friendly and helpful. Seemed willing to speak English without being critical. Great directions and suggestions given. Breakfast buffet good but don't eat lunch there. Awful experience.

The hotel was fine. The location was good, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was ok and the room was odd, but comfortable. The traffic noise was not an issue nor was the off sight parking. The people and dog watching on the beach and promenade was first class, as was the local food.

Convenient, clean and hospitable. Pleasant stay in a great city. Location is one block off the seashore prominade. Staff was very helpful, cafeteria connects to lobby and is a good alternate to the breakfast fee if you don't want a full breakfast.

The location makes it very easy to get around and is surrounded by beauty! The staff were incredibly helpful. We found the room to not be as clean as we would like, but we did enjoy the terrace. But a decent value given prices for the area.
