The hotel was perfect except that the wifi was terrible. Wifi kept cutting out and asking front desk for help was not useful. Called twice-1st time told she knew about the problem but couldn't do anything or reset the wifi. 2nd time the gentleman at front desk said he didn't think there was a problem. We had two rooms and all of us had same problem. Other than that, breakfast was good-hot eggs, pancakes, bagels and cereals. Happy hour offered on Saturday with wine, beer and pretzel mix. Very clean and short drive to main area of Paso Robles and wineries. The also have a patio area with a gas fire pit that they can turn on if you want to sit out there in the evenings.

The hotel was ok no issues with that, the issue was with Expedia not mentioning that the Hotel was under going a renovation. I am allergic and which caused issues for me. Room was big and very well cleaned. Problem was the hotel was under construction which was very disappointing, could not have happy hour in the evening or breakfast in the morning was on the second floor wih no place to eat. This was not disclosed when booking the room on line. Paid full price, but only received part of the services due to construction. Was disappointed being a IHG member.

Clean rooms, the guy who welcomed and checked out me, same person, was kind and nice, indoor swimming pool was a plus. Remodeling of front entrance was doubtful of a good stay but at the end, breakfast included, whole two nights stay was good. A little of noise from patron above, probably kids and dog barking from patron across. I would stay here again though. Hopefully next time, I won't get disturbed by kids and dogs.

Internet was spotty. The primary reason for the low review is that the property was under renovation. The breakfast area was closed and breakfast was served in the cramped hallway connecting rooms. They could have appropriated 2 regular rooms for a makeshift breakfast area to lessen the impact of the renovation. The heat/AC unit in one of our rooms did not work the first day and they failed to send someone to fix it. It got fixed the next day after the 2nd reminder. The AC u it in our other room leaked profusely on the second night and they moved us into an adjacent room. Breakfast options could definitely be healthier.
