I had such a wonderful experience staying in La Playita in Puerto Rico for a couple of days. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like I was visiting family. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind — they really made me feel right at home. The hotel itself was peaceful and relaxing, especially being right in front of the beach. Waking up to that view and feeling the ocean breeze was everything. It was the perfect place to come back to after long days of exploring. I didn’t spend too much time at the hotel since I was out sightseeing most of the trip, and I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast. However, they do provide a simple breakfast option for guests — things like cereal and bread — something light and convenient before heading out for the day. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming place by the beach in Puerto Rico.

If your hope is a relaxed, laid back atmosphere when you're not on the beach, La Playita's got you! No lobbies, elevators, endless walks to get to the beach. Just walk out of your room and walk onto the beach! The staff are fantastic! Friendly, personable, and attentive!

I thought it was a cute hotel. It’s right by ocean, so you can just get up and be on the beach in seconds. They have a really cute restaurant inside open for dinner. We got us an appetizer and a few drinks before we went exploring for the evening.

Wonderful little boutique hotel. Very helpful friendly staff - in February the restaurant and bar , unfortunately, are only open on weekends because the food and drinks are very good. So close to the beautiful Isla Verde beach - like 10 steps - and reasonably priced.

The staff stood out the most during my stay. The ladies who clean the rooms are super nice and accommodating. The welcoming when we arrived was great and easy as well. The hotel only has 5 parking spots and 15 rooms so parking can be a problem if you want to stay out late. The beach is directly across the street which is nice. The restaurant which is opened only during the weekend has good food and the ambiance was nice. The rooms however need major improvements. We literally spent the first day looking for another hotel because it was not what we’re use too. It’s old looking and needs a lot of repairs. The hooks fell off the wall, the refrigerator had this weird plastic on it that was ripped, the water pressure in the shower was horrible, and the tub itself looked horrible. They had rugs on the nightstands which was kind of weird and the sockets were all hanging out of the wall. The rooms need to be upgraded immediately or they will begin to lose business.

Showed up to a dirty room, had stained couch, and blood stained sheet. The bathroom and couch still had sand from the previous occupants. Not enough parking. The people who work there are nice. But someone dropped the ball big time.
