It wasn’t terrible in itself. The reviews were great, which sold me. The reality is, it’s a motel. Very musty and low grade everything, had a bad smell from bedsheets and air conditioner. I will pay $10 more dollars a night and stay in Irvine next time at an actual nice hotel!

Everything that matters was great. It's a simple hotel, not flashy or fancy, but it was very clean, safe, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The AC worked well, the water temp was easy to dial in, etc. If you just need a clean, simple place to stay, this place is excellent. And it helps that there's an In-N-Out restaurant right next door :)
