Because I was not able to sleep all night long because of a very strong smell that aggravated my asthma I will not give this hotel a good recommendation. It was extreme and after I got home the next day the nightshirt I slept in still has that smell on it, which makes me wonder if it was on the bed spread! It sort of smelled like insecticide.
It's terrible experience, My wife got insects bite and lost phone charger .
Our stay overall was great. The room was clean and everything, basically a standard hotel, nothing fancy. I disliked that the front desk person tried to convince us to get 2 twins instead of one king, it looked like she had messed up on the amount of rooms she had or something. We're not 2 strangers that came to sleep separately, we booked a king for a reason. Please be more organized next time, some couples aren't there to just hold hands from afar all night, some of us prefer getting intimate and don't want 2 separate beds.
Wouldn't recommend unless strapped for cash. The hotel staff was nice enough but the rooms themselves were pretty gross. Towels were absurdly tiny would barely dry an infant. Their continental breakfast was laughable. They have a popcorn machine that they never filled or cleaned out.
Reasonable choice for budget stays in the over priced Silicon Balley
For the price, it was okay. They tried cleaning the place, but had hair in multiple places. They also said they serve a continental breakfast everyday. They might as well stop serving it. It was the most stingy breakfast I've ever had. Their rooms are heated by window AC units that were noisy and kept me awake at nights. It is easy to focus on the negatives. Overall, it was an okay place for the price. I'm glad I chose them. Will I visit again? I don't know.
Improve Customer Service and Breakfast area including type of food served.
This motel was not cheap through Orbitz, so I had a basic expectation of cleanliness and the structural facilities themselves. The pool was not clean, the concrete sidewalk to the rooms was in need of paint, and the coffee maker was dirty. Unless they clean up their act, I wouldn't recommend it for families.
The hotel is slightly above average in terms of value for budget priced accommodations in the silicon valley. The big benefit is the central location close to a major highway intersection, so nearby towns can be reached fairly quickly, traffic permitting. The mattress was comfy, not too soft, and in good condition. The bathroom was adequate. A picky spouse would probably not approve of it, but for just getting a good night's rest, it's perfectly fine.
The breakfast is so poor and the bed is not very clean. But the location is pretty good.
this hotel is by the freeway..convenient yet a bit loud by the hum of traffic. BUT the rooms are amazing they have upgraded the carpet, furniture, tile in bathroom. Once in the room I thought we were in a much more expensive room. The best VALUE. We will stay here again unless rates go up considering all the upgrades. Friendly front staff excellent maid service. I had NO complaints.
The hotel was very rundown and the room was not clean. The staff was rude when I told them there was hair in the bed and the smell of smoke combined with air freshener in our room. They advertise continental breakfast which was a joke.
Typically, a 2-star hotel will rarely surprise you, BUT this hotel had just gone through a renovation and results were that of a 3 -star hotel. Down from the designer carpeting to the rooms amenities and details, I was happily surprised. The facade of the hotel looks like a regular Vagabound Inn,,,, but it's the room interior and service that will bring you back.
I enjoyed my stay again will return when in the area again. Location is great and quite for the most part
Room was large, toulette a little old and beaten up maybe, but all in all it was decent.
The room was dirty stains on furniture, sand in the bed, hair in bathtub. It smelled like smoke combined with some type of air freshener. Clerk at the front desk did not offer any apology and was down right ride. I asked for the manager to contact me but he didn't.
Pro: clean, price is good, location is good (next to 101 highway) Con: breakfast is tooooo simple, WIFI is not stable Overall: very good for the price paid
The location was convenient and accessible. The check in process took quite a while due to multiple calls fielded by the staff member. He was obviously irritated and curt, but not rude. The room was adequate, but the carpet made me keep my shoes on. The TV did not have good picture quality and it was located in an odd spot for viewing.
Cons: My first impression walking into the room after dark was that I would not be able to sleep due to the overwhelming aroma. I wondered if it was a pesticide, as it smelled stronger than any cleaning agents in my experience. Although I am somewhat sensitive to aromas, this was awful and would bother any normal person. I opened the door and stood there moving the door back and forth, trying to air it out, which helped a little, but not a lot. I needed to sleep and did not want to spend time hassling at a late hour and did so finally. I called in the morning and asked housekeeping to use NO perfumed cleaning agents for my second night (prepaid, so I decided to stay). No luck - strong small again on return the next evening, but perhaps just slightly less so, but I managed to sleep, again after airing the place out. The blanket and bedspread were both thin I could not see a thermostat to increase the heat and it was cold, so I double-folded the blanket and bedspread over me and kept my bathrobe on. Pros: Once asleep, I slept well and did not hear nearby freeway traffic, other than when in the bathroom. The bed was reasonably comfortable and having a king bed with 4 pillows was a plus. A major positive was there are a Hobee's (great for breakfast/lunch) and a Denny's (cheaper) very, very close (walking next door). TV worked okay - many foreign channels and not many of the better Dish channels. Parking very close to the room was a plus for security and unloading luggage, especially as a female traveler. The best things about the place were the price - but you get what you pay for - and breakfast at Hobee's in the morning. Other: Continental breakfast in the lobby is only served until 9 so I had to eat out, but doubt I missed much. The carpets were frayed and dirty otherwise, it was reasonably clean. Furniture and decor were older and dreary, but okay, considering the price.
Good for Travel Techies. okay BF. Remote for AC. Doesn't work.
