Sheets had stains. Shower pressure was low. Parking lot was pitch dark. Came in late from a long day of travel and asked about late check out since it was already midnight. Staff explained it would be a $45.00 charge for two extra hours. That’s half the price we paid for the room to begin with. No microwave in room in 2025.

1) Building, lobby, and rooms need to be updated. Pictures online are misleading. No one was at the front desk when we walked in. Elias was the one who assisted us —- very nice gentleman. 2) Was given room 308. Upon entry: - dirty towels on the hallway floor - both beds were unmade - bathroom was disgusting 3) Went back to front desk, but no one was there. Said « hello » and a gentleman came out and said, « I’m at lunch. Let me just wash my hands, » and proceeded to kitchen area across lobby. Informed him of issue and assigned room 108. At this time, the gentleman who assisted us initially —- Elias —- came to the front desk and asked what was wrong. He apologized and said he would comp our parking. 4) Hair on bedsheet 5) Tub was not draining. During shower, water level reached above ankle. 6) At checkout, I informed the young lady at the front desk of the tub draining issue and all she said was that she would « let them know. » no apology. She didn’t really seem to care. We will NEVER stay at this particular Sonesta hotel again.
