It was a perfect hotel for the weekend. The room interiors and HVAC could use refreshing, but the staff, restaurant/bar and location were perfect to walk all around the Gas Lamp District and to Petco Stsdium.

Liked the recent renovations in sympathy with the historic building/hotel. walking distance to Gaslamp District restaurants/bars. Property was clean, service was pleasant and helpful. Will return. Less liked - The restaurant was not yet open. Parking in the vicinity is difficult/expensive. Note that street parking on meters on nearby streets is free between 8pm and 8am/10am but all spots taken before 8pm!
