A useful tip for future travelers: if you are planning to buy local artisan crafts, check the selection inside the hotel before shopping elsewhere in town. After exploring many different stores around San Cristóbal, I found that Casa Lum actually offered better prices and noticeably higher quality pieces. Their collection of regional pottery and artisan work is exceptional. I would also highly recommend this hotel for travelers carrying valuables or professional equipment. The rooms include secure safes, which gave me great peace of mind while traveling with my photography gear. And if you enjoy creating beautiful content for Instagram or social media, this hotel is a dream. Every corner of the property is incredibly photogenic. As a professional photographer who works in luxury hospitality, I can confidently say the design, lighting, textures, and atmosphere make Casa Lum one of the most visually appealing boutique hotels I have visited.

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Lum. It is in an excellent location right on one of the main “andadores” in San Cristobal. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were really friendly. They have a small terrace where you can see the sunrise or sunset of the city. The food in the restaurant was good, also if you want more variety there are many restaurants right outside the hotel. Shops, coffee shops, ATM and more places just 5-10 minutes walk away. You can walk to the some of the main places to visit like the Centro Historico, Churches, Mercadito de Los Dulces, Mercadito de Artesanias and more! We are planning to come back again.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, muy cerca del centro y en una calle peatonal, no hay casi ruido, a pesar de estar muy cerca de bares y restaurantes. Mi unica queja sería que el agua caliente de la regadera era intermitente, anque no me parece muy serio. Recomiendo mucho el restaurante, yo desayuné ahí dos veces, muy bueno. El bar que está arriba tambien muy agradable.

Excelente experiencia en Hotel Casa Lum, en San Cristóbal de las Casas. El servicio y la atención son verdaderamente excepcionales y personalizados; desde el primer momento te hacen sentir como en casa, con una hospitalidad auténtica y cálida difícil de encontrar. La higiene de toda la propiedad es impecable. El ambiente es acogedor, íntimo y lleno de detalles. La vegetación interior le da una vibra muy especial y relajante, mientras que el restaurante destaca por una decoración fenomenal y con muchísimo estilo. Las habitaciones tienen un diseño perfectamente ad hoc con el concepto del hotel: elegantes, cómodas y muy bien pensadas. Las regaderas cuentan con excelente presión de agua, las toallas son suaves y acolchonadas, y las batas de baño simplemente espectaculares. Los colchones rígidos permiten un descanso pleno y muy reparador. La atención en front desk merece una mención aparte: profesional, amable y sumamente eficiente. Te atienden con un nivel de hospitalidad comparable al de los mejores hoteles boutique. Además, la selección de artesanías que ofrece el hotel supera en calidad a muchas de las boutiques que se encuentran caminando por San Cristóbal de las Casas. Y para cerrar, la ubicación es perfecta.
