Well balanced

I would say it’s the kind of place exactly to expect in such a quiet little town like San cristobal de las Casas. Just the right distance away from the main tourist street. The hotel is quiet, clean, rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable. And if you have a rental this a no brainer for the parking is quite spacious and safe. Maybe the only downside is the Wi-Fi is poor as in practically all the town. Breakfast is ok, but there are many more delicious restaurants nearby.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY!! Recommended

This hotel is awesome. The staff is extremely friendly and catering. They have on site parking, which is great considering the streets are super narrow and easy to have the rental hit. Rooms are spacious, clean and have running hot water. The property has many open areas and sits in a colonial Hacienda style, which make it very enchanting. The property is located about 12 minute walk from the main strip in San Cristobal, the Cathedral or Guadalupe church. Everything is walking distance from here. There is a store accross the street to buy necessities or snacks, a laundry place around the corner and many eateries within walking distance. The hotel’s restaurant is also a good option for food. Highly recommend this place and will stay here upon our return trip to San Cristobal!

The old colonial-style architecture is really beautiful. My only complain is that there is no A/C and even tho its supposed to be “cold” at night, i kept sweating through the whole night.

It is the first time I that I was told that heating is not included in the price. The hotel has a lot of potential under different management attitude.

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds in a convenient location. Oh, plenty of secured parking in a neighborhood where parking is limited. One tiny thing... wish they had a light on the closet area... it was very dark and I couldn't see my stuff without shining my phone in there. Really, very good

Chose the hotel for the fact it had gated off street parking, and it turned out to be beautiful. Lovely gardens, pleasant rooms and good value. Definitely recommend.

Perfect match in price and quality

This hotel has actually all the benefits that any traveler look for in his journeys. It is perfectly located few blocks to the central park and the cathedral, has beautiful gardens, a quite good restaurant (no pretentious but more than enough) with fare prices, and large rooms with comfortable beds and typical Mexican decoration. The place is quite, and you can relax in its beautiful gardens, with the sound of the fountains in the surrounding. Service is kind and answer to any need that you can have during your stay, Decoration is beautiful, mixing the old Mexican fashion with all the modern facilities. I highly recommend this hotel. Its cost is less than you can imagine for such a great conditions and services.

Picturesque Hotel

The room was small and the wifi never worked. After the third day it started working in the lobby area. The hotel has nice gardens. It has free parking which was good and handy. San Cristobal is a beautiful place and the hotel is like 5 minute walking distance to the Andador

Worst place to Stay in San Cristobal...

Beautiful Hotel, horrible service. First Day, asked for toilet paper, never arrived until next day. Because hotel in the halls has no rugs, you could hear when people arriving and leaving with their luggage wheels; also the cleaning people. The beds have a protection plástic so every time you moved you could hear the plastic. Internet works sometimes. Next day in dinning room, pounding very loud, workers hitting outside wall, preparing wall for paint. Arriving to room, no towels; maids forgot to put towels in room. Internet not working, complain to front desk; no solution. Worst service I have ever experience.
