Motel 6 decided to cancel my stay after i already paid because they said i arrived late. Im caught in flood/storm by austin teying to get there. The receptionist kept lying to me about available vacancies after i asked if i could rebook at the desk. I have never had my booking canceled for a late checj in before at any hotel.

The room was dirty and the sheets had cigarette burn marks on the blanket. The fire alarm was down and not working. The chair was broken I have pictures if you need to see them.

Within 2 miles from my convention which was super convenient. Room was clean but a little outdated and some old repair work showing in the ceiling and walls. Front desk staff were super great and friendly. Room next to mine had permanent residents that liked their herbs and smokes, my room smelled like weed the whole weekend. Would stay the night again if need be.

The place had people living there, saw one guy sitting in front of the hotel drinking a beer, another one sitting outside his room, next to mine when I walked into my room then another man was walking around with the ice bucket filled with ramen noodles being called out by the desk clerk asking him if he was going to pay another night, then another was drying out his laundry by placing all around his pick up. You could see his window decorated with a skull and a keep out sign with inappropriate words as if it were his house and another room had plants all along the inside of their window. I was there but for a hour then decided to take all my things to end up staying with a concerned friend in another hotel and asked to cancel my second night but was denied and was told it was non refundable. The room was also in poor conditions, had old towels and had a fly and a few gnats flying around. Definitely not recommended if you’re visiting San Antonio.

All i had was issues. Started with towels, i went and nicely asked if i could get some towels bc there was none, i was given one, i said there are 2 adults and she wouldnt give me another one. Then when i came back a week later to work again, i was given a room that didnt have a microwave bc it was apparently "under maintenance " and she wasnt even going to give me one. They ended up bringing me one that was dirty, it worked when they brought it amd when i came in the next day it wouldnt work. It then took them 2 days to get me another microwave. The last straw is when i find out that the whole time i was there, like 6 days. My door doesnt even lock, it didnt even need the key card. It just opens. I went and made them aware of it, but i wasnt trying to have maintenance come work on
