Usually I am easy going about our hotel rooms but this place was horrible. The first thing we encountered when we tried to check in was the fact that we had to use a glass prison like window barrier like you find in a gas station kiosk. There was a lobby and a desk but we weren't allowed in. I asked if it was a bad neighborhood but she said it was very nice. We got 2 electronic keys but only one worked but we still couldn't get in our room. Finally while lifting the handle up and shoving, we got in but the door did not fit correctly because you could see out around the edges. There was a deadbolt but the other locks were missing. Two lamp shades were broken, there was a smashed bug on the wall, some dirty residue on the wallpaper, and ants crawling around the bathroom. One of the comforters had holes in it and the whole room needed repairs. We were so exhausted that we stayed to sleep but left early without even showering because it was just that bad. And all this for $200+/night because it was final four weekend. We definitely would have driven out of town to get a room had we known it was that bad.
My girlfriend booked the room while we wer driving through booking. The price showed $79 per night. The price immediately number to a total of $238 once she clicked the button to book it. When i told the manager about it she basically said its my problem and she wont help me. I paid the price anyway. Once i got to the room it was filthy. See the pictures. Trash in the bins. No Towles. Toilet paper on the floor. So gross. I immediately went to the desk and the manager said the room wasn't even ready and she will send a maid. But nobody told me not to go to the room in the first place. I went back and told my girlfriend that we would leave and find somewhere else to go. The managers son tried to book me another room and i said i was checking out . The manager said i was not allowed to check out and that she wasn't giving me a refund. Terrible experience. I disputed the charge with my bank once i got back home.
Ok this place was horrible! They almost doubke booked and put us in someone else's room. The pool was small and dirty. The staff was friendly until I asked for a refund! I booked this room through priceline so Since i got a deal I didn't know where we'd be staying until after it was booked. The room had bed bugs crawling everywhere I was so livid and disgusted. The room also smelt like it previuosly flooded. Please dont ever stay here!
Outdated and need of repairs. Bed not comfortable, VERY noisy AC; could not sleep most of the night. Entire room needs TLC. Website says hot/cold bfast but it was just cereal, tiny treats and coffee. nothing else. About 6 minutes from dtown. On the expressway. A little shady part of town. Will not stay there again.
It wasn't the worst, had its good ...like shower pressure...nice pool...decent room. Bed was not comfy and only 2 pillows to fight over..and I saw a bug...but for the price decent...front desk lady was not very friendly either...if your looking for a cheap one night stay Its just ok.
We stayed one night at this hotel, woke up at 2am and found out we had bed bugs in the room. The were also a cockroach and a clearly used towel in the bathroom. We were offered a new room which we accepted, as this was in the middle of the night, but still feel the hotel should reimburse us for the stay. The Hotel Manager is not at the hotel, and the employees will not give us a refund. Furthermore they are claiming that Hotels.com should issue the refund, while Hotels.com is claiming the opposite. No one from the hotel went to check the room after we told them about the issue, and we feel they are not taking this serious at all. Our room was #123, so please don't stay in that room!
We went to make a reservation at Quality Inn, but found out that it had become an Econolodge. We didn't want to stay at a low end motel, but were assured that it was listed as four stars. So, we made the reservation. What a mistake. I will start by giving them credit for the room being clean. It was also in a quiet location. Now to the bad news. The whole place is badly run down and needs major renovations. The chair in our room was broken, with the back loose and unable to be brought to a useable upright position. The wall paper was peeling in several places and the lamp shade looked like it had be obtained at a garbage dump. The bedside table on one side was removed (you could still see in indentations on the carped where it used to be). However it did allow me to find a good use for the broken chair. Now for the breakfast. Several types of sliced bread, one container of small muffins, several cereals, and one small waffle maker. The juice was sitting there in open pitchers. It only took one look to encourage us to go elsewhere for breakfast. Since the waffle maker was hot, I guess they figured they could advertise that they served a hot breakfast. This was one of the worst places we have ever stayed at. We used to feel that you couldn't go wrong with choice hotels. Guess again. For us it's back to the drawing board to find a better group for future hotel stays.
Good points: Very good wifi. Very friendly staff. That's it. He hotel itself is old and not worth paying your hard earned money to stay here. All the appliances are old and outdated and the bed frame makes noise when you sit. The floor was so dirty that your feet will get dirty if you walk for 5 minutes in the room. I have attached photo to show how dirty it can get. There was no freezer section in the refrigerator. The AC Did not have the protective net. Bathtub did not have the stop valve. All in all it was not a enjoyable stay.
came down from Denver stayed a night, not the cleanest ever, carpet had cookies and crumbs all over it.. There's a band-aid on the curtain, and looks like blood, fridge didn't work ,the sheets had long hair in them..very very very disappointed!couldnt sleep neighbors had kids running up and down our walkway Banging there toys around ,the bathroom sink looked like it was glogged up by hair.. Shower makes a loud rattling noise...... Hair on the floor in the bathroom as well as some panties in the dresser there was some lingerie and 20$ never come here......i can go on and on
Clean and confortable room, good service. Quiet at night. A more than acceptable place to stay overnight. The included breakfast was simple but delicious, although cofee was not hot enough. We really did not have any bad experiences or complaints. Fair price.
