This small quaint hotel is in a great location! This hotel offered a breakfast, and also had a small bar in the lobby, which was nice and cozy!A word to the wise...if you're traveling during the summer, you want to make sure to reserve a room with air condition! I would stay here again!!
The hotel is very welcoming, good value for its price. They have a safe in the room and beds are comfortable. It's a decent sized room in European standards. 15 mins walking distance to Old town and a few diverse restaurants (Chinese, Austrian, Italian, and Indian) within two blocks walking distance. Would come back here again next time.
Nice friendly hotel with basic amenities, and good value for money. It is around a 10-min walk from the main square and key attractions of the city including Mirabelplatz. The location is good, but at a slightly isolated end of the road. A good choice if you are looking at value for money, slightly away from the city centre.
Great location, lovely clean room, good shower very good buffet breakfast. So for the price excellent. We had a hire car. They have a really good arrangement with the Linzer garage just a few minutes away. 14 euros for 24 hours and you can come and go as you like. My fault but one needs to keep the bedroom window closed and the air con in to keep the traffic noise out. That works. The main city centre attractions are just a approx a 10min walk in away. So great hotel.
This hotel is in the neighbourhood of Schallmoos, a 15 min walk from the rail/bus station at Lastenstrasse and the Old Town and we got a room with a lovely view of the Kapuziner mountains. The hotel had a good breakfast and importantly also an elevator (missing in many European cities). The front desk is 24/7 and helped us with an adaptor and with helpful instructions on moving around in the city. Rooms were comfortable though a little smaller than I expected.
I stayed here with a group of students and adults. The hotel is very well-situated within walking distance of many areas of interest--especially Mirabell Gardens. Our rooms were comfortable and air conditioning worked well, if needed. We were here at the beginning of July and it was actually quite cool and a bit rainy at times, so I did not use the AC as much. My bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water and towels. The soap/shampoo comes from one dispenser attached to the wall, so if you are fussy about shampoo, bring your own. The only thing that I would love to have had was a coffee/tea making appliance in the room. There was hot water in the lobby, but this was a service for (according to the management) their Asian clientele who bring their own items that require boiling water. I guess one could always take a tea bag from breakfast to use, but I did not think of that in time. Our group had breakfast every day, and it was very good--there were eggs, sausage/bacon as well as fruit, yogurt and assorted breads. No complaints at all for that! The workers at the front desk were all very pleasant and helpful. You do need to leave your key at the desk when leaving the hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Location was great.
Pros: Good location, few min walk from Mirabell Gardens and about 15-20 min walk to the old city across the river. Nice breakfast Wi Fi working fine Cons: They charge you 10 Eruo per room per day for aircondition if you want to use it. I think it's unacceptable |Bed matress very hard The room is not so much light proof and it woke us up early in the morning. The staff has helped us with what we needed but not too much friendly.
The location of the hotel was roughly a 15min slow walk from the Salburg Main Station. What was really good is that the hotel was a 5min walk to downtown (Mirabell Palace, etc.) Buffet breakfast was good. The tour for Hallstatt (panorama) was convenient as they pick you up in the hotel. The room was clean, bathroom spacious and a/c (aircondition) was available.
Basic hotel room, however pleased to see the room had a nice big bed. (Seems that several of the hotels we have stayed in during our trip the beds were 2 twins pushed together.) We had ground level room & had to close the window due to outside noise. Yes, you do pay extra for air conditioning and it is necessary in June! Good morning breakfast with lots of fresh bread. I also appreciate the cleaniness of the room & bathroom!
The staff was nice, and the location was decent (10 min walk from the main part of the city). The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. We decided after a few hours to pay the extra 10 Euro for the air conditioning but it never worked, they attemped to fix it , but it never worked. they did not charge us for it, but it was dussappointing and uncomfortable. Our room was consistently warmer than the outside air, and opening a window did very little to fix it. Overall, the hotel was pretty nice, it was just an uncomfortable few days due to the heat.
