10 minute walk from Old town. In the midst of some great shopping and restaurants and cafés. The rooms are basic and clean and very large and the beds are very comfortable. The rooftop breakfast room has the most fabulous views
not far from city centre..walk of around 10 min...rooms was big with comfortable bed. Bathroom is little small. there is no help so you have to carry your own luggage though there is a elevator available. breakfast has good spread. people at reception are very nice, they’ll give you maps, will explain you how and where all you have to go..well a good place to stay.
The name says it all. Has everything you need without all the frills and luxury, and at an excellent price for Salzburg. Fantastic location, walkable to the sights, great breakfast. The staff was helpful with suggestions for a local dinner. They conveniently held our bags for us. Would recommend.
Upon arrival in Salzburg and finding our hotel with the aid of our navigation app, our first impression was "OMIG..! Tucked away against a steep cliffside and bracketed by seedy industrial buildings and a massive parking garage, this budget establishment seemed to be something of a "pebble-in-the-rough" and we voiced our disappointment accordingly at the reception desk. We were quickly reassured by the friendly young staffer that we had approached the property by a short-cut! We thereafter discovered that Hotel All You Need was a mere short passage-way distant from the main tourist thoroughfare, opposite the entrance of the hotel; a two-minute walk to the adjacent Salzach River and a three-minute walk to the center of the Old Town across the Staatsbrucke! A more strategic location could not have been wished for, supported by the fact that we parked the rental in the adjacent garage and did not approach it again for the duration of our three-day visit to this fascinating city... The hotel is a stripped-down, no-frills member of the Salzburg Hotel Group and provides adequate and spotlessly-clean facilities for the on-the-go traveler who does not require unnecessary luxury beyond a fine breakfast, hot shower and comfortable bed - all of which describe this establishment. Quiet and efficient, with helpful and friendly desk-staffers, we could not have wished for more from any hotel. All You Need turned out to be the most convenient and central lodging during our fortnight's travel through Austria, Czechia and Slovakia.
Hotel is a good value.Dorm room and cafeteria atmosphere. Hotel is popular with a mostly younger crowd. Good service, good price, tasty breakfast and helpful front desk make up for most issues, but don't expect the hotel itself is anything more than a "budget experience". I expected "all you need" but this is true if all you need is a clean place to sleep and a nice breakfast. Location is almost impossible to find, so maybe call the hotel and ask for help, It is located on a back alley off the street listed as its address. The location is convenient in general if you like to walk as we do, with lots of shopping nearby. It is a few minutes from a bus stop, so easy to get to from central train station. Hotel did not accommodate late check out, and I was warned to "be sure leave on time". This was only negative about the generally helpful service.
A little bit tucked away, but has easy walking access to the Old Town any many restaurants. We walked out here from central train station. Basic but clean and comfortable, helpful and friendly staff with good English. Good breakfast.
Hotel Sallerhof is a lovely place, with warm and kind staff, and beautiful rooms. We were incredibly happy to be here. My partner enjoyed the breakfast, which was quite lovely. My only wish is a few more vegetarian options (they certainly had options, but it was pastry heavy....however, this is my privileged Canadian perspective speaking). The location was beautiful and really could not have been better. We would certainly recommend staying here to others in the future.
This is is a quiet location away from busy traffic and in a great position to explore inner salzburg on foot. Car Parking garage nearby, but note this is charged at 15.5 euro per night. Good breakfast with hot and cold options. Rooms are functional with adequate space and wardrobe facility. Shower was a little cramped but ok. Staff friendly and helpful.
Nice staff trying to satisfy you in every possible way, great breakfast on the roof of hotel under montain which is great view, i was extremly happy, they give us a map and explained every good attraction places in city ,
Close to everything...walkable from every point you can think of. Close to city center, most of the histotical sites, close to bus stop, river. Rooms are clean and big. So is lobby. People at reception are really helpful and they'll guide you abt the city. Breakfast has wide options. Will definitely stay again if I go there again.
