We stayed in this hotel for one week in July. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was hot and stuffy on the first night so we requested a pedestal fan and it was provided to us immediately. It helped a lot for the rest of the stay but rooms do have problem with ventilation and absence of air conditioner makes it uncomfortable during hot summer months; leaving window opened at night didn't work for us due to outside noises. Hotel is very clean and modern but very basic with no tea/coffee/fridge fasciitis in the room. Breakfast on the roof top terrace was a highlight of our stay here, it is included in the room price and is delicious with very wide variety of options. The staff serving breakfast deserves special compliment for keeping place tidy and refilled as well as for being very polite and attentive. Honestly we were previously charged 14 euro per person in a hotel in Vienna for the breakfast far less enjoyable compare to this one. Hotel is within 10 min enjoyable walk from both old center and Mirabelle Palace, 20 min walk to the train station, we didn't have to use transport at all, everything is reachable by foot and transportation to the attractions outside the town was covered by Salzburg Card. Overall, we had very nice stay in this beautiful town.
All You Need almost lived up to its name for my husband and me. With no car, it was about a 25 minute walk. Using Google Maps, we had supposedly 'arrived' but it was unclear where the hotel was. It took the help of a woman who saw us with our luggage to point us in the right direction. The actual road in front of the hotel (a nice royal blue color) was more like a cross between a parking lot and an alley. What we needed was better signage - especially since we arrived in the evening. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, especially when we asked for a fan (no A/C in the room). We also were able to leave our bags in a designated place in the lobby on the day of our check-out so we could see more of the city before heading to the train station. Our room was clean, but our TV did not work. Breakfast, however, was very good and well-serviced with many options. This is a unique place that feels like a cross between an upscale hostel and an American college residence hall. I recommend it. However, I do encourage management to make it easier to find for those walking from the train station. The nearby parking garage was much easier to find than the hotel!
the hotel doesnot give you anything (All you need name is misleading). Except for breakfast. No kitchen so was a terrible time with my infant kid. Room was very small and my kid fell down once and hurt himself on the head the other time. the worst moment of my overall great Eastern Europe trip. Staff was great and courteous. Good for couples. Families with Infants should avoid
The AllYouNeed hotel is located just off the main high street in the eastern half of the the city, meaning it is a 5-10 minute walk from the river to the western half. This pleasant hotel offers comfy and spacious rooms as well as a good inclusive breakfast and friendly staff. The location is perfect for being close enough to the key attractions and streets but quiet enough to still enjoy a peaceful time. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would use it again if I ever return!
During university term-time, the rooms are used by students so the hotel rooms are quite basic. However, my room was clean and warm - doors are locked from the outside and inside with a key. From the railway station it's about a 10-15 minute walk but the location of the hotel is close to the shops and many restaurants. The breakfast was very good although we did have a fire alarm one morning due to the catering company burning the toast! If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and don't mind basic amenities in your room, this is well worth the price.
The staff is very friendly, speaking English, Italian and German. The included breakfast on the roof-top patio is excellent, offering bacon, eggs, vegetables, fruit, yogurts, cereals, etc etc and perfect coffees! The rooms are basic and the beds a little hard. Wi-fi is excellent and so is TV reception. Location of the hotel is very convenient, right in the heart of the city.
We visited this hotel during our stay in Salzburg in Sept 2016. We are overwhelmed with the location of the hotel which is just close to 10 mins walk to bus stop and 5-7 mins walk to old town followed by a street full of restaurants and shops and DM super market. We booked this hotel through booking.com with special request of check-in at 11 am which was accepted by hotel, but while reaching there we found room is not ready and we need to wait till 1 pm to get the room which was annoying and would have resulted in waste of time, hence unwillingly we need to keep our luggage at reception for entire day. One more thing to add they provide single beds and not double beds in rooms. As far as service is concerned they are good at it, since it was hot for us and rooms are not equipped with AC we requested for a fan and same was provided to us. Moreover, girls at reception are very well aware of bus routes and locations and can guide you to its best. Overall my experience was good and if I keep aside check-in issue it was really good. Hope this review will help travellers. Keep exploring keep sharing....
We stayed in the hotel for three nights. It's located close to the old city and offers basic services including very good breakfast, and nice view from the top floor balcony, free wifi and parking. No safe deposit in the room and no extra pillow if needed. No air condition , and very basic and small bathroom. Stuff was very cooperative and helpful.
The hotel is located on a side street on the side of the Kapuzinerberg. Although the hotel itself is modern, the rooms are quite small and basic and the wifi was not so good. We could not get any during the day and in the evening we kept reconnecting. The location however is a big plus since it is right at the center. You just need to cross the bridge to the Getriedegasse, Salzburg's shopping street. The Mirabell palace is just around the corner, a mere 7 mins. walk. There is no aircon and in July it can be really warm so we brought a small electric fan along. If you just want a place to crash for the night then this hotel would be a good choice.
The position of the hotel is good, its situated in the new part of town not the old sector. The room itself is very very basic,no air conditioning heating only. The shower is tiny and needs a clean, but the room is clean. The breakfast is continental and a little more, but its fresh and clean and yummy.
