Avoid at all cost! Seriously! No kidding! Check-in was already the worst ever. The guy didn't answer any question because "I don't have to", that's what he said. But that by far, hasn't been the worst.
The rooms are awful, disgusting and
All I needed was a bed for the night, and that's all I got. The room was clean, if dated, and the check in staff were lovely. They even called up to the room 15 minutes or so after I got there to double check that everything was okay. Got this room on the cheap and got what I paid for. The only really bad part was there was a very strong garbage smell outside the rooms, even though there was no nearby dumpster.
Absolutely dreadful! Possibly the worst place we've ever stayed! Dirty, disgusting, dark, and dank! Unkempt grounds. I couldn't even sleep because I wasn't sure the bed was clean. We left without showering because the bathroom was so gross. It was like something out of the 1950's. the worst part!? It wasn't cheap! Ironically, the staff was pleasant. I can't stress enough how bad this place was! Why don't places like this invest in Fabreze! The stench was awful.
My friend and I needed a movie kids weekend so we planned a trip for the crab place in Crisfield, MD this motel we close. The front desk was helpful and let us check in early. The beds were really firm and decor was out of date. But ok for a short stay.
Arrived around 10:30 pm, staff was friendly and welcoming but room was not. Room had a musty odor, sheets didn't fit beds, air conditioner when running emitted a foul odor and the pillows had stains on them. Room was the dirtiest I ever stayed in, tried to sleep on top of bed but wound up sleeping in my car. Horrible experience! I wouldn't even give it 1 star but had to in order to post review.
Filthy, ratchet, foul, gross...there are not enough adjectives. My family and I travel a lot and we always book with an online booking agency. The booking agency booked us for this hotel for two nights. When we pulled in I knew we were going to have issues. The place looks abandoned and sketchy. After my husband checked in I told him we were not off loading anything until I looked at this room. There was no weather stripping on the bottom of the door allowing all kinds of bugs to get in. Once inside the room there were bugs and flies everywhere. The bathroom looked like something out of a horror movie. I pulled up the blankets and the one bed sheet was on inside out. If you don't know what that means, it means that someone slept in the bed the night before and the house cleaner just flipped the sheet over to save on laundry. At this point we were so disgusted we immediately got on the phone with the booking agency. After a lengthy time on hold and then a call back the customer service agent said the hotel said we were going to be charged $20 because we were in the room for an hour. We were in that room less than five minutes. We agreed to the $20 but wanted a full credit of the remainder of the charge. We were not credited back so we had to dispute it with or financial institution. This hotel needs to be condemned and in the near future demolished. Oh, and by the way, the smell of curry permeates every room. This place is disgusting!
This hotel is disgusting, bathroom was nasty, the free continental breakfast was two cereals bananas English muffins and donuts w milk on ice in a bowl . Upon waking up we found bed bugs and the owners refused to compensate .
The bathroom was really, really bad. I understand that updating these older motels is costly but soap and bleach cost little. I would have given one star but the evening clerk lady was so nice. I had a can of Lysol spray disinfectant in my suitcase and bombarded the place, especially the bathroom. Used the bath mat and extra towels to walk on.
This hotel was chosen for a weekend in the ocmd area, as it was one of the cheapest ($99/night) I could find. The room smelled of mold, it appeared to not have been cleaned before we got it. We found a weave in the dresser drawer, the light fixture was broken, there was a dead bug smooshed on the wall, and the water smells like rust. We also found a huge hole in the wall behind the bathroom mirror, which we think flies were coming out of. I knew for the price it wouldn't be the best, but it really was awful! Find a way to pay a little more and stay somewhere nicer, it is definitely worth it.
We were heading to Outer Banks for a week. This was the only hotel with availability we could find in the area to get a little sleep. What a horror. The parking lot stunk of urine, the room was nasty, smelly, dirty, husband squashed a cockroach and the shower water stunk. Our son refused to take his shoes or clothes off slept on the covers while my husband barricaded the door and slept w an army knife in bed. Save your money, sleep in your car. The only positive thing is we didn't get infested with bed bugs. P.S. Thanks for the 1 towel.
