Phoenix Inn Suites South Salem

Walking distance to many eating establishments and facilities. Nice area.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel. I have actually driven by it for years, but never thought I'd need to stay there. Because of a series of meetings in Salem I booked at the Phoenix Inn (South) and I was very impressed. The front desk staff was kind and courteous, the parking was great, the workout room was efficient, and the breakfast was great, and most of all, the room was impressive! I will be staying here on all of my Salem visits.

a very nice place and quiet which was surprising since it was adjacent to a major road

A perfect place to regroup after a long day's drive. Staff was attentive--every one of them.

The hotel staff is professional and rooms are decent not great. The cleanliness is acceptable not exceptional. The free breakfast is deplorable. Little variety and tasteless. The eggs were clumped together and visually unappealing. There was a tip jar in the breakfast area which I found to be presumptuous and insipid. I paid a pretty penny for my room. Don't fleece my pocket book with tip jars!

The bed was awesome pillows sucks. I stay a extra night hotel clerk didn't give me the same rate I paid on Friday night. So for the same room for one more night 20.00 more they said its the weekend so they can't give me the Friday night price

It's a nice, affordable option for staying in Salem.

I nice place to stay that has the convienence of several grocery stores close by.

We got a room on the lower level. Room was right under the breakfast room. 7 am it got really noisy.

Good service and clean room also bathroom was especially clean.

Nice stay. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast. Close to wineries, waterfalls and downtown Salem

Room was so comfortable, bed well made. And most of all, it nice to have a sitting area in the room

Business traveler. Stayed here on 2 separate occasions. Both times the staff was very friendly, rooms kept up to date, solid complementary breakfast with a super nice waitress at breakfast, conveniently located hotel, safe area/parking. I would stay here again. The first time i stayed here they put me in the first/bottom floor. The hallway smelled like dog cleaning/enzymes and my room also had that smell. If they could find a way to air out the hallway that'd solve it. When i checked in a second time i told the front desk that my room was really dog enzyme smelling. They apologized and made sure i was put in a room where pets don't stay. I appreciated that. I checked in early enough so they could accommodate this request. About an hour after check in the front desk called to make sure my room on second stay was ok. I really appreciated that. Used the fitness room, well kept up exercise equipment. I travel a lot for work around the state and this was my first experience with Phoenix Inn. I'd stay here again. Good value hotel.

A/C broke, hot and would not change rooms or fix the problem.

Our 3 night stay was comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing, comfortable, easy to get around, no one rushed us, and we were rested to continue on our trip. Thank you!!!

Not the type of hotel I prefer to stay in. It's average and tolerable. The saying - you get what you pay for comes to mind.

Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful staff.

Convenient place to stay as we were passed through Salem

Great hotel. Clean and very quiet. I would stay again. Rooms are large and very spacious.
