Cosy country cottage for two in peaceful French countryside.

The pretty stone and cob cottage offers comfortable accommodation for two. A Jøtul stove will keep you warm and cosy, all the logs you need are supplied for no charge from our 11 acre woodland, to which you will have exclusive access. A veranda, with table and chairs, looks out onto a private garden. Guests can wander freely around our 3-acre garden with its wildlife pond, small flock of Breton sheep and bee hives. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for children or pets, and smoking is not permitted inside the gite.
There is a shop and bar in the next village to us, just five minutes drive away. The shop, run by Mme Catherine Omari, sells a good range of produce, including wine and beer, fresh fruit and vegetables and some organic ('bio' in French) products. It is a "dépôt de pain" which means that a bakery delivers fresh bread each day. You can buy croissants but is is best to order; we are happy to ring and arrange this for you.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a coffee maker.

Our stay at Stuart & Gabrielle’s well equipped & lovely peaceful cottage was a real treat, warm & cozy, just like a cottage should be, specially with the wood stove glowing! Absolutely loved this place, Gite has everything you need and is in great quiet location with plenty of countryside walks. The garden is wonderful and it was lovely to get a visit everyday from the wandering ducks. Gabrielle & Stuart were great hosts - couldn't have wished for a better holiday.

Gabrielle & Stuart were perfect hosts, always ready to help when needed but otherwise unobtrusive. The cottage made an excellent base for pleasant cycling in the quiet lanes, on tow paths & the nearby "voie verte". Not far to great coastal destinations. Highly recommended.
