We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester. The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries. I would recommend the Chester Grosvenor to everyone and anyone, particularly if you are celebrating something and want a memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

This hotel is in a great location however the hotel needs maintenance. The rooms need to be updated and the staff is in need of training. The service is subpar in comparison to other high end hotels.

Amazing location and staff are so lovely and helpful, I only gave it a lower rate as the bathroom needed a bit of attention although it was clean but shower was very old and slow draining (had to turn off shower few times to drain and resume showering) - not ideal especially for the price we paid. Other than that everything was simply superb. Please do not be offended by my comments. It is a constructive feedback and should not be taken any other way.
