The location is awesome, beds were comfortable and room was very clean. The only major downside is the hotel does not have a lift & carrying the luggage up and down was not easy!

Perfect location with everything in walking distance. A bit difficult to find the hotel and parking. Look for the door with the sign Hotel Fiore. The room was great but the street noise is loud, a fan would be nice. Bedding not great but towels are.

We arrived Friday afternoon and the AC only worked for about two hours. The temperature outside was between 86–89 degrees, making it very uncomfortable in the room without AC. When we contacted the owner, we were told maintenance wouldn’t be able to come until Monday, which was the day we were leaving. She did provide a fan and offered the mini bar, but neither helped with the heat. Opening the windows didn’t help either since the unit faced a busy street with constant traffic noise and a bus stop directly below. On top of that, every time we used the water there was a very loud pumping noise, which made it difficult to use the bathroom at night without waking up my partner. For a hospitality hotel, they really should have emergency maintenance available 24/7.

Giovanni was very hospitable and provided very helpful information about places to see and restaurant options. He provided us a map which was very useful. Location was close to all the sites and walkable distance to everything. Please factor in that Hotel is on the first floor and you need to go up a set of stairs which may not work for everyone, but we enjoyed our stay there.

Sweet Dreams Roma suited us well for this trip, but there were a couple of things I didn't know until I arrived that I wish were more obvious in the booking information. First, Sweet Dreams Roma isn't a full-service hotel. It is more like 4 rooms and a check in desk. The desk is only staffed for a short time in the afternoon by a very cheerful and helpful lady. Second it is on the second floor with no elevator service. If you have bags, you will have to carry them up 35 steps. We were coming off a cruise, so we had large heavy suitcases and we're old. I wish I had known about the stairs and would have probably booked elsewhere. The location is excellent and the windows fairly soundproof.
