NH Roma Leonardo da Vinci

Great location in the embassies area and very close to Vatican City. The NH chain has a very good standard, the room was quite large for the standard that you find in Rome and the breakfast buffet was a great surprise, very large and complete. There are plenty of airline crews staying here, mostly americans, and we they arrive the hall gets quite busy. I found this hotel ideal for a trip to Rome, you can visit all the major attaction by feet to enjoy the city and then come back to a very relaxing and quiet neighborhood to relax.

We were extremely happy with this hotel. Only a few minutes from Lepanto Metro and ten minutes walk to the riverside and St Peter's and the Vatican. Castel St Angelo was a few minutes walk away as was the main shopping street which led to the Spanish Steps and the Victor Emmannuel monument. The room and bathroom were spotless, breakfast excellent, and we ate a couple of times at dinner, served by friendly Fabio. We shall have to go back to see him again. We think we picked an ideal hotel for our six night stay.

Staff is gracious and rooms are quite comfortable. Not far from LHR. When compared to other rooms in London hotels, and especially those in Europe, the rooms are larger. Good for 1-2 nights. Even though close to airport, airport noise is not a significant factor. Breakfast included is exceptionally good.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel . Staff was pleasant ,professional and very helpful in helping the tourist part of my trip. Great location ,,,walking distance to the Vatican and several restaurants ,shops close by

This hotel does not look fancy from the outside. The lobby is nicely decorated with a restaurant and bar and conference spaces. In the lobby there is always complimentary natural and sparkling water available along with candy snacks for guests. The decor of the hallways and rooms have an old European feel to them, but are clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and cozy. Toiletries in the bathroom include shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body milk, shower cap. There is shoe horn and shoe polish in the closest drawer along with a pants warmer. There is a mini bar in the room, which you will be charged for if you use it. Breakfast includes a wide variety of hot and cold foods, yogurt, pastries, cheeses, deli meat, and coffee, tea, and juices. Eggs can be cooked to order. Overall, this was a great place to stay in a convenient location. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants, about 10 minute walk to Piazza Cavour and about a 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Very impressed with the hotel rooms and breakfast. Both at a good standard Slightly away from the centre (but that may be a good thing?, about a 30 minute walk from the pantheon etc). On the plus side, round the corner from the best gelato shop in Rome :) Makes the walk home that much easier!

This was both a business and pleasure trip. The hotel staff was very helpful for whatever I needed. Comfortable rooms and nice restaurant. Great location near both the city and to the Vatican. Plenty of shopping nearby.

Stayed here - since we were visiting Rome during a free weekend from a business trip to Torino. Its a decent place - but not as good as the NH Lingotto hotels in Torino. The location is great as you are walking distance from the Vatican Museum, St Peters Square and some other attractions like Piazza di Poppolo and even Piazza Novona, Pantheon and the Trevi fountain 9thought the last 3 are a bit of a walk). The staff was relatively welcoming, but again not as good as the NH staff I am used to in Torino. The breakfast buffet was awesome though

My wife and I enjoyed two nights at the hotel prior to joining a cruise from Civitavecchia. Our queen bed was comfortable, there was plenty of cupboard space and we enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep as the hotel is in a quiet area. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants close by and more importantly a couple of excellent gelato stores within a short walking distance of the hotel. We were able to walk to the Pantheon within thirty minutes passing many piazzas, cafes and shops on the way. Breakfast was included and offered numerous hot and cold choices plus quality cappuccinos.

Its not a fancy hotel but its pretty close to everything and this makes a good place to stay while in Rome. Rooms are basic though and complimentary water is not offered. Breakfast is modest and never boring. Dining hall is conducive to having meals.
