My wife and I enjoyed two nights at the hotel prior to joining a cruise from Civitavecchia. Our queen bed was comfortable, there was plenty of cupboard space and we enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep as the hotel is in a quiet area. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants close by and more importantly a couple of excellent gelato stores within a short walking distance of the hotel. We were able to walk to the Pantheon within thirty minutes passing many piazzas, cafes and shops on the way. Breakfast was included and offered numerous hot and cold choices plus quality cappuccinos.
Its not a fancy hotel but its pretty close to everything and this makes a good place to stay while in Rome. Rooms are basic though and complimentary water is not offered. Breakfast is modest and never boring. Dining hall is conducive to having meals.
NH Roma Leonardo da Vinci have great location . My suite 715 have 2 floor , it's so big and comfortable living room and bed room , the suite so clean and all staff friendly . Too many Resturant's and shopping just a short step from the hotel . It is really nice place to stay when you are visiting Rome .
I, frequently, stay at NH Leonardo daVinci while on business. Ivana (who works the front desk) is one employee that stands out. She is consistently helpful and goes above and beyond to help the customer! She is a very valuable employee! Thanks Ivana! You are the BEST!
Have stayed at this hotel several times most recently in June for a long weekend, we decide to upgrade to the suite, definitely worth the small extra cost, room was huge with spiral staircase leading to the bedroom. Location is excellent also, very close to the Vatican and many of Romes attractions
This particular hotel is within easy walking distance Plaza Popolo and is used by airline crews with both United and Delta. We paid E140 including breakfast per night. The room was clean, the queen size bed comfortable, the closet space sufficient, and the staff consistently helpful. The hotel has a small workout area, and breakfast was included in our room price. A number of good restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel is located in a fairly quite neighborhood with several embassies in the area as well.
Been here before. The location is great. 10min to the Vatican - coffee with the Pope and only ten minutes to the centre of the roman tourist walk. Can walk to the Parthenon in 30 mins. Good service. Located just behind the Law Courts, great café and non tourist scene. Cheaper also.
The hotel is perfect located - close and within working distance to most attractions. It is on the other side of the "river" so in the middle of Rome. The standard is ok and service was good. Breakfast was very good There are plenty local restaurants around the area so no need to eat on the tourist restaurants on the other side. Will for sure come back when in Rome
When staying away from home for a week I look for a hotel that makes me feel at home, not luxury but comfortable and clean. That's what I found here. If you also want a healthy breakfast with fruit, gluten-free and lactose-free products than, this is the right hotel for you. Yesterday, after a full day of work I went for a walk... I simply couldn't stop walking, so I came back to the hotel at 10.30 after 13km walking from San Pietro to Colosseo passing for Fontana di Trevi, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna... all close to the hotel.
I am travelling a lot for conferences and work, as well as for vacations.I never complained about any hotel But I had created a tripadvisor account just to share others my bad experience. First when I went to check in, it took the receptionist 30 minutes to do it as the electricity was going on and off and the system was shutting down and hanging everytime although I booked online one month before my arrival to the hotel. Once I entered the room I didnt find the kettle and the espresso machine that they were talking about in their site as I had reserved a superior room, so I called the receptionist again and he promised ill have them ASAP, and i had only a kettle like 6 hours after my call when I went to the reception and told him that I still don't have the things he promised to send me. While entering the room there where like a small bag of chips and a small bag of candies on the table ( away from the minibar) where good hotels put a kettle normally, so I ate them. And when I checked out they charged me 8 euros for these bags .and i told them I thought they are a welcome appetizers as they where not in the minibar, the answer was that the minibar is full and there is no place for these 2 bags so they put them on the table. The internet was awful, very slow so I wasn't able to watch any media to prepare for the conference and when I called them they said if I need better internet I need to pay. It was really slow which reminded me of the old times of ADSL connections. The hotel is really old, smelly and not clean at all. In my 2nd night I noticed there was a blood spot over one of the bed sheets. Bref, I don't recommend this hotel at all
