This hotel is in a strategic place, right around several great restaurants, within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps and the Hop on - Hop off bus stop. It was clean with small rooms. The shower was difficult to step into, with no mat and was very slippery. Breakfast was average with a decent variety

We delayed planning our trip and booked this hotel by default as others were fully booked. As far as what you get for the price, it’s a fair deal. The bathroom cleaning is lacking but then this isn’t a 5star property. It’s more like a 3+ or 4- hotel largely b/c of poor bathroom cleaning and weak air conditioning in the room. As far as hospitality, the women receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The bellhop was very hardworking and helpful. The dining room staff were lovely. BUT then I encountered the rude staffer in reception. He had already been rude to another father and son before he started ignoring me. The the rude receptionist saw me standing in line but pretended to be busy by staring at his computer screen. It was odd b/c he wasn’t typing or doing anything. Every few seconds, he looked to see if I was still standing waiting for assistance. He finally had no choice but to help me. I asked for a new room key. He pretended to look up my name and room number in a black binder and said he had no booking under my name and immediately started walking away. I slightly raised my voice and in a very firm tone started to spell my last name and then repeated my room number. He widened his eyes and then acted as if he hadn’t heard me properly the first time, and quickly started to make me another key. While he was making the key, he said something to the other male receptionist and they both looked at me in a creepy way. THIS IS NOT HOSPITALITY! I guess NH doesn’t educate or train staffers on hospitality or inclusive professionalism. I’m a conservative woman and was wearing sportswear appropriate for travel. I went up to my room to check if anything was smeared on the clothes or face. I have no idea why the men were being creepy. I would say that I originally wanted to give the hotel a 4 star rating for economic value and overlook some of the scum on the bathroom glass, especially as I never came in contact with it. However, it’s been a few days since that male receptionist was creepy and rude; and thinking about how he made me feel in light of the “MeToo movement” I can’t overlook it. He ruined the stay. He was slightly taller and thin with a prominent nose. So, ladies, if you see him try to avoid him.

Location was excellent for our needs. Checkin coincided with a delta crew arrival and definately noticed front desk lady debating in her mind whether she should come to desk and help check us in, she was an older lady but thankfully her decision was swift and after long flight from usa we were being checked in. During process my son asked politely “Excuse me where is the toilet” an older man checking in the aircrew ignored him, I noticed, and as our lady had stepped away, I repeated quite loudly” Excuse me but can you tell us where the restrooms are” He took notice and realized some of the crew were upset with the way he had ignored my son, he dropped what he was doing and left his station and walked my son over to the nearby toilet area. The breakfast was good euro 24/ any one 12 and over Meals a little pricey, but great service. Some of the breakfast staff (older ladies had frustratingly poor english skills) the process for signing for breakfast was also rude and intrusive with them shoving the bill in your face as you are eating. Much better when buffet is chosen for guest to sign at beginning when they ask for room number Room small esp with rollaway, clean bedding and towels. Small bathroom, sitting on toilet only if door fully closed.. Uber rides to vatican/ central attractions Euro 18-26, cabs 12-18, front desk called cab for is it arrived within 4 mins Cabs not all use AC, all ubers we used were big Mercedes vans with AC and helpful smart drivers ATM near american embassy Grocery store on the way for staples and emergency supplies was very helpful Park behind meant noise outside low compared to other hotels i have stayed in rome. Check out slow, again would Love manager to watch cctv of his reception staff, guy who eventually helped me floated around apparently doing nothing to help delta crew check in, and when it was convenient for him he went back to his position and took our payment. Another lady had previously had terrible experience with front desk With guy claiming he could not find her then laughing with his male colleague after deliberately delaying her. I told her next time to run her video to capture this discrepant treatment. To be honest the front desk staff need some starbucks training, I think most Anerican guests can understand what I mean. Not sure Delta would have their flight crew stay at NH hotels once that video circulated!!! So one star because I do not support behavior of minority of front desk staff towards guests with natural tans!!

Used this hotel for a long weekend in Rome; I will recomend it. The rooms are small but for a couple was ok. Please ask for a view room to the park, is very nice even it comes with an extra fee. Very good breackfast.

We had a wonderful stay at the NH Collection Vittorio Veneto. The hotel was modern and had wonderful views! The hotel is in a wonderful, safe neighborhood, but still convenient to everything! Special thank you to Maria Grazia who made our stay amazing and to Michael the bartender for making some killer drinks!

Nice modern hotel, in a very good location right outside city wall at via Veneto. We had a great room #701 with a huge balcony over looking the city. Special recognition to Maria the concierge who was extra helpful and kind.

We had 2 stays at this hotel from 29 April to 8 May and again from 13 May to 15 May. After an initial confusion about our room, we were given a wonderful, spacious room with a terrace. Thank you Danuta, you were a great help and your personal touch with us was greatly appreciated. All the staff we dealt with at reception as well as the chambermaid were very friendly and forthcoming. The room was spacious, modern, well equipped and always immaculately clean. Any help or information we needed was immediately attended to with a smile and a friendly word. The location is great for all purposes and a short taxi drive away from anything you wish to see (my husband used a manual wheelchair to get about). We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

As a longtime customer of the chain, unfortunately this time my satisfaction was impaired. The hotel is located in an excellent location and the service of receptionists is very courteous and they go out of their way to help. Unfortunately, the level of service is very poor. For example, we asked for slippers several times, but only after four repeated requests did we receive them. The cleanliness of the rooms was mediocre: there was a case that the tea cups were not lit, there were not enough clean towels and soaps, and we even explained to the receptionist that he even offered to change the room. We gave up the hassle of exchanging a room and instead made up for dinner. At the reception desk there is a cold drink for guests but as always the water bottles are empty. It's a pity that the balloon has no consigration that helps guests, and instead the receptionists are forced to help guests with places of entertainment and map matters. Nevertheless, we will continue to host this network.

We arrived very early in the am expecting the typical please leave your bags and wait around until your room is ready. This is pretty standard. Not here, we were greeted by the delightful Elena at the front desk. She was nice and even took us on a tour of the hotel with the ability to choose our room. (This is done during off-hours if the time is available.) After reluctantly picking our room leaving our bags in it and preparing for the day we came back to the desk and Elena introduced us to Guest relations, Maria. She sat us down, and helped us plan out our Epic Rome day. Something she did that many guest relations/concierge is took the time to figure out what we actually wanted and didn’t want to do. Most relations people just start throwing the “coolest” stuff at you with no regard to our interest or intent. Maria was different, she asked great questions then like a super computer processed our request, then spit out a phenomenal walking route through all of Rome filled with shopping, sightseeing, speakeasy bars, pizza, and eclectic scenes. We hit everything we wanted and everything we didn’t even know we’d want and loved. It was all master planned by Maria. When we came back after 12 hours walking around Rome on this great day, we came back to our Rome to find the next day’s planned already mapped out on a new map, fruit and chocolate gifts, a beautiful note, and amazing personal touches around the room all gifted by Maria while we were gone. We’re blown away by the hospitality, generosity, planning, staffing of this hotel. I would have never picked this hotel, I never heard of the brand, and was gifted the stay by someone as a thank you, well looks like I owe them a big thank you for bringing Maria, Elena and NH Collection into our life. didn’t expect to get a room right away. We held an event for about 100 people at the hotel, which was very successful. I wanted to pay a particular complement to Federica who coordinated the event and to Agostino, the restaurant manager. Federica has a smile that lifts the day, worked extraordinarily hard to make the event a success and was always on hand to solve little problems along the way. Agostino was warm and friendly, and attentive and made us all feel very welcome. Two exceptional people. Oh, and Rome is such a beautiful city
