This hotel may not be directly next to some of the main attractions that Rome has to offer but is an ideal base if you wish to sample the quieter and tranquil side of Rome. It provides very easy access to all the main attractions via the metro system and a short walk to visit the beautiful Spanish Steps and stunning Park Villa Borghese (both are must sees). The hotel was simple and stylish and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. A special mention must go to Pino, who was a great presence on reception and nothing was too much trouble.
Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good fitness, wonderful breakfast and so on... I had excellent conditions for my rest and work. The only unpleasant moment was connected with payment.
If you come to this Hotel you have to check out the bar and the new bartender Michael, very nice , innovative with all kind of personal great recipe a wonderful touch to a great vacation 😊 Plus all personal is very helpful and extra nice a very family type environment, thank you Agostino for always been very professional and. Going the extra mile👍
I was helping with a party of 150 over from Scotland for the 6Nations game. Everyone agreed that the facilities and location of the hotel were great and that the staff were attentive, polite and efficient. One wee observation would be that the bar staff work at a somewhat slower pace than we are used to in Scotland ! The rooms are well appointed and presented. We would definitely come back.
Rooms are very hot. I called front desk for some relief 3 times. Maintenance man did he not repair. They don’t have fans. No other room available to move as they are full front desk said.Opened window and street noise is unbearable. Convenient location. This hotel would be good if you don’t plan to spend much time in your room and/or don’t want to sleep much.
I frequently stay at the NH Vittorio Veneto for work. I can highly recommend this hotel. It's in a great location (especially if you are a runner, like I am- it's right next to the beautiful park Villa Borghese), the rooms are stylishly decorated and have nice amenities such as espresso makers, tea kettles, nice toiletries, very comfortable beds. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the park. The staff at this hotels is extremely accommodating; every effort is made to fulfill the guest's requests right away. Every time, I am made to feel very welcome at this hotel. The hotel is only a short walk to sights like the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, the shopping area around Via Condotti and also very close to the chic areas of Parioli and Trieste.
I recently spent several nights at this property and was thoroughly satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast buffet was nice and substantial. The location is walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and very close to a subway stop, so no complaints there either. All in all, a very good value.
I found myself in this hotel a few days ago, since I am a flight attendant and I travel frequently. Rome was iced over and rather than going slipsliding at night , I decided to dine in the hotel for my 3 day stay. I was truly impressed by Fabrizio, who served me. He was attentive, friendly and full of suggestions as to what to order. I had a wonderful dining experience each night. Overall the staff at the NH Vittorio Veneto is professional, helpful and attentive to one's needs. Located next door to the Burghese Park which happens to hold my favorite museum in the whole world. The Burghese Gallery , which houses many of Bernini's statues as well as artworks by the Renaissance masters , among others 5 Caravaggios. Buses around the corner will take you anywhere you wish to go and the Barberini metro is about 10 minutes walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in The Eternal City.
Very good value for money in Rome, gorgeous view over the gardiens even from small and very clean single room. Excellent welcome at reception desk from Valentina and a really delicious, comforting, home-like dinner at 10 pm in the restaurant, professionally served by a careful, experienced and extremely polite Fabrizio. At a reasonable price. Very good experience among numerous business trips to Rome.
We organized our company event at this hotel in February 2018 for 3 days. The hotel is very nice and modern and well equipped. The food was delicious and the rooms were very nice and very clean. The downside for the conferences is that the boardrooms are in the basement (no windows) and the areas for lunch/ coffee also have limited windows (why I gave a 4 rating). By the end of three days, we were happy to see light again! The staff however, were INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond expectations and did everything they could to make our event and stay exceptional- including printing us a special group picture that we had done on our first day. A special thanks to Federica, Sonia and Salvatore :-) Unfortunately, this hotel is not located in a 'beautiful' part of Rome (why I give a 4 rating). It is just outside of the wall to the 'old Rome'. While we are not far from most monuments (15 min walk to the Trevi Fountain, for example), we are not in the most picturesque location... which can be desired when you're somewhere like Rome. On the other hand, this is likely also why the hotel rates are more reasonably priced than others in the area. All in all we were very happy with this hotel but it was really the staff that made the difference. Thanks again! Carmen
