Perfect base for exploring the city!

Had a lovely stay - a great base from which to discover Rome. Really close to a lot of the sights and a lovely walk to the Colosseum. Comfortable, light and clean rooms. Would definitely stay agin!

Great area, clean and safe and about 10-15 minutes walking distance to all attractions. The rooms were clean and tidy and good size as well ! We were disappointed in the personal assistance we normally receive in a hotel. But if you are used to a vbro experience you will enjoy. We tend to like more attention while on our stays with help with directions, recommendations on places to eat and go esp in a foreign country. Front desk was always empty when we left in the morning and came home in the afternoon and left again for the evening. Would of been nice to have someone working the front desk a tad more !

Wonderful stay at this charming (and extremely affordable) hotel located a short walk away from major attractions - St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. Thank you to Nausica for your hospitality.

Clean, quiet, and centrally located.

This place is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at... and I travel for a living. Even the baseboards were spotless. The room was quiet at night, the a/c worked well, nice big shower, mini fridge, and flat screen tv. The room is on the smaller side and you have to log into the wifi every time you come back to the room, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Little Gem! I would book this again!

Not easy find if you don't arrive outside the B&B. On arrival the reception give you a map. Buzz & ask for the hotel name; security guy will let you in. Door is on an 10 second auto open/close. Mention the hotel, he'll tell you which floor. Open the door & enter the B&B reception/communal area. I advise calling the hotel informing them of your expected arrival on landing. They'll likely do this before you leave your country as well. Ask the receptionist everything you will need. Restaurants, WiFi, departure day luggage if needed. ASK!!!!! Register WiFi code immediately. One code per devise. The shower and bathroom is excellent. The bed is comfy. The TV unable to find any English channels throughout our stay. The breakfast room wasn't used & were provided tickets for breakfast for a cafe a block round the corner. Use the map. Ask reception about breakfast, we used basic Italian at cafe & didn't get best welcome. Weren't told what we could order, just pointed at and basically grunted. You can order a Tea/Coffee & pastry piece basically. If you need substantial food, eat here then go elsewhere. Exceptional pastries & coffee type stuff. Small restaurants selection in proximity; while food was good in Italy; it lacked real meat & veg & those that sold it, expensive; ended up eating Burger King twice, one stop away using the underground transport. The Underground & Train station is 5-10 min walk from hotel.

Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a great stay! Hotel staff were so accommodating, we couldn't have asked for better. The location was superb, very central, so you could visit all the sights easily.

Great B and B in super location

This is a b and b not a hotel so don’t expect the frills that come with your standard hotel. Instead if you want to stay in more intimate accommodation in a well-appointed room with safe, tea and coffee facilitate and free wifi and receive personalised service this place may be for you. Patri is a great neighbourhood serviced by metro and buses; with an abundance of local restaurants, shops and other services all at hand. My only criticism is that the wifif sometimes dropped out or was very slow uploading data. Otherwise would have awarded 5 stars

Perfect city stay hotel

Often when you visit a City, your hotel is simply a place to wash, sleep and keep your stuff with all of your other time spent exploring. This hotel was perfect for this. The room was excellent and the bed comfy. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the shower was good. A basic breakfast was provided which suited us well having filled up on pizza and pasta at lunch and dinner before. To top it all off, the staff were excellent, both knowledgable and friendly. After check out, we left our bags at the hotel in the day and when we returned having been caught (and soaked) in the rain, they were so helpful providing towels and dryers. 10/10 and great value! We will be sure to stay again!

Le Stanze di Orazio

Just back from a wonderful 4 night stay in Le Stanze di Orazio. The location is perfect you can walk to everything but there is also a metro close by for when your legs get weary. The accommodation looks exactly like the pictures. The rooms/bathrooms are spotless and very comfortable. We had room 14 at the back facing a courtyard and never heard any noise. The breakfast is small but adequate. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your trip.

A Great Little B&B

A small B&B in an older building in Rome. Close to Vatican, etc. In a nice neighborhood with all of the conveniencies you need. The ladies at the hotel were just wonderful, and most helpful. We appreciated the way they went the extra mile to ensure that we had a nice time while in Rome. They made our stay memorable. A great little place tucked away in a great city.

Location, Style and Service - Very Pleased !

We were met by Giuseppe upon our arrival - ( tip - let B&B know your approx. time of arrival ) He was very helpful and explained details regarding the property and neighborhood. We stayed in room # 14 and we were very happy with the amenities and cleanness. Large room compared to typical Rome and Italian rooms in general. Located within walking distance to many restaurants in Trastevere neighborhood - several close by (e.g. San Marco for Pasta and Pizza). Very close to SIT shuttle stop to FCO airport. Shoppers take note of great higher end opportunities nearby B&B. Vatican City also pleasant walking distance. Would return - needed more time here !!

Excellent Stay

The Le Stanze di Orazio was the best possible choice for the money in all of Rome. The service was excellent, the location was convenient, and the rooms themselves were very nice. Breakfast is served to you every morning until 10am to start your day right. When we go back to Rome we will be sure to book our nights in this hotel!

Excellent little hotel great location

From walking through the front door to leaving we were really happy with this little hidden gem it was walking distance to all the major sites it was going to take 1 hour and a half to the colosseum so we decided to get the train which navsica had told us where to get it and which lines to use it was easy to get there also she had given us a map how to get around town which was simple to follow overall a fantastic holiday and we would defiantly stay here again

Individually designed, well-appointed rooms

The location was very convenient for the Vatican and within walking distance of central Rome. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean with excellent en-suite bathroom facitities. Friendly housekeeper was present each morning to serve a good Continental breakfast and clean rooms but staff otherwise contactable only by telephone.

First visit to Rome

Our first visit to Rome and after researching various hotels we decided on Le Stanze di Orazio. On arrival we were met by the owner who couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, showing us the hotels facilities. There is a lift from the ground floor, but its quicker to take the stairs. The building itself is used by other businesses and apartments, but it never felt unsafe. The room itself was fantastic (Room No.11), very clean and well maintained. The bed was soft, but comfortable, and the bedding clean, with extra pillows in the wardrobe. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities, although there was no milk. But there is a supermarket about 100m down the main street, so no real problem. Bathroom was great, very clean, with plenty of towels. Good small safe bolted to the wall inside the wardrobe, great for passports, cash/credit cards, tablets and cameras, but not big enough for a laptop. Not that you would want to spend much time using a laptop in Rome! The hotel is on the first floor, above a small clothing store. The only real noise was from the traffic and the rubbish collection which was at 3:00am on Monday morning. Even though I'm a light sleeper, the noise was never a problem after a day spent walking around the city. Breakfast was served from 08:30am and was always delicious, with plenty of choice. My wife and I thoroughly recommend this hotel, the staff were great and friendly, and the location was perfect. Would stay there again.

Very Good Experience - Will highly recommend this

Fantastic location if you are looking to explore Rome, 10 min walk from Vatican and surrounded by good restaurants and accessible public transport. Staff / owner are really friendly; room was clean, Comfortable memory form mattress, good size room/toilet and Air Conditioned which is very important if you are visiting in summer. SIT Bus Shuttle service stop is 5 min away from where Rome Airport is 30-45 min, do not waste your money on Van, Taxi or Train, this shuttle will get you to the hotel for 6 Euro per person.

Good bed and breakfast

This is a very nice place There are only two issues: if you need information or help, the owners are not there either before 8:30 or in the evening. Thus breakfast is not available early but they did give us a voucher for coffee and crioissant around the corner. Also, Internet is difficult because it is weak nd keeps dropping calls. Okay for vacation by not for business travelers. Key to room was annoying (old fashioned and took many tries to openor lock). Room was quite pretty as was bathroom.

Due to a change of plans I arrived three hours early, instead of the 5 PM time of arrival. I asked someone that was passing by if they would please call the the hotel number that I had printed out; and had used the day before with no problem. The person did try several times, and always got a fax sounding type noise. I also rang their buzzer on the outside door without any success. I did get into the building when someone opened the door from the inside to leave. I then waited out side of the B and B's doorway for about an hour when a person opened that door from the inside, as they were leaving. So I waited inside the B and B until 5 PM when the lady arrived to sign me in, and gave me my keys to my room /the Band B/ and the building key. The room was nice the breakfast service was as expected. MY thoughts an all of this is that it would help if at least there was a way to comunicate changes in plans; therefore advoiding all of waiting out side of the building etc. with my suitcase and carryon bags.
