For our first time in rome this place was everything we needed. Was clean had a fridge and the AC worked fine. Wifi was good and the espresso machine in the main area was always stocked. Staff were responsive on whatsapp. Since we were going all over the city it was convenient to be close to the main station and metro line. Personally I didnt find it loud at night since the area is pretty desolate. But you are less than a 10mins walk to some nice bars and restaurant's.

Great location right next to station and a short walk to the Colosseum. My only niggle would be the cold shower in my room I would have the boiler on all day and it would still be stone cold I only had two hot showers during my stay and one was in my friends room next door

Loved how every morning Lucia was extremely pleasant when bringing breakfast. The room was decent. The bed was comfortable with a big beautiful shower. Felt good coming back from a long day of sight seeing to this property. I also love the shared space with snacks and things of that sort (which is all free) in case you’re a snacker in the middle of the night like me. Although there are other people within the same property (different rooms, different guests) we never really crossed paths with them, I guess we were all too busy exploring Rome. I see a lot of reviews talking about the outside of the property with people roaming around, I can assure you it is just regular people walking around, it is not a unsafe neighborhood at all (and also there are cops around if you ever do feel unsafe). I would recommend this property. A great place for an even better price.

Very nice room with spacious bathroom

We arrived on Tuesday late in the evening. As there is no reception in the evening we got instruction on how to get into the building by email. Room facing the interior courtyard is very nice, spacious, quiet and modern. There are complementary tea / coffee, biscuits and fruit available in the common area. Breakfast is good. The place is 2 mins walk from the metro station Vittorio Emanuele. Staff very friendly. The neighbourhood is not very attractive.

We booked this place but never stayed. At the time we were to check in, I received a message stating “we had to proceed to urgent unplanned maintenance to the room you booked at Houspitality Nero B&B and the room is not available...” The owner followed up with a call and offered to have her husband take us to another property across town, but we declined. Our plans were based on the location we booked. Whether the owner overbooked or had a legitimate emergency, I do not know. Accordingly, I struggled with whether or not to give this review. I decided to give the review, because no one should have the experience of arriving in a foreign country thinking accommodations are all set only to be told last minute that there is an issue. I did not realize there was an issue until I arrived to check-in, so I did get to see the building. This place seems to be in an unkept part of town, but I did not feel unsafe.

B&B was clean and nice, owners were lovely. Close to Termini station and easy access to Metro, easy to move around. Neighborhood felt really unsafe, there were loads of black men hoovering around and they were also selling drugs just under our window.

Feel almost like home.....

Lucia our hostess was very kind. The breakfast were delicious and the room very confortable. They offered the transfert for the airport and it was A one......the only point was that the environnement seems to be not safe, but in reality the police officers are walking the streets all the time......it was a nice stay near of Termini Train station......

Adorable apartment in an iffy location

Unfortunately this darling apartment is located in an undesirable location. I would not recommend it for families. However, it is definitely a great value if you are looking for something on a budget and close to the train station. Lucia was so sweet and helpful!

This is not a hotel. You can find better with the same price. The welcoming wine was cute but the breakfast was so bad and small portions. Good for a quick nap before a flight but if you want to stay more in Rome I don’t recommended. There is no resiption but Lucia is very helpful and can reach her by phone. The electricity was shoud down twice daily for no reason. I couldn’t sleep because of the light of the sun, there is a shatter but it do nothing.

Overall decent value - location is okay, closely located to Metro. Pros: *Location - quick walk to Metro station *Breakfast - nice breakfast service *Room - good size, comfortable, private bathroom, good A/C *Price - good value for the price *Wifi access is good and reliable Cons: *Very little communication during check-in process - non-responsive to questions sent via email *Check-in process was a little confusing *No contact info for potential issues you encounter during the stay *Hot water took a long time after it was gone. Shower early or plan to have a cold shower! *Electricity went out multiple times during one of the nights.

Basic but clean

Room was clean but very loud and we were kept awake by street noise and other guests. The area was VERY run down and covered in graffiti, and the hotel is not well sign posted but the host came into the street to find us. There was no hand soap for our entire stay and no toilet roll for the first day. Overall would not come back due to area.
