Great historic hotel in a good neighborhood 3 blocks from St Peter’s Square. Many restaurants on the street and easily walkable as an old Rome neighborhood with the cobble stone streets. Closer to the Tiber and Castle San’Angelo. Lovely breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

We booked same day and were lucky to find a room anywhere in Rome. Our VRBO cancelled and we needed a place for the night. The hotel staff was amazing, the room was clean and perfect. We stayed on several hotels in London, Paris, and Frankfurt during our trip though Europe. This was the only hotel that its air conditioning worked very well. We enjoyed their great location, about a block from the Vatican. There’s even a small convenience store around the corner where we could buy water and snacks and there’s also a lot of restaurants and gelato stores literally next door. The street in front of the hotel it’s for pedestrians only, so it’s quiet at night. The hotel offered a shuttle service to pick us up from the airport, at a price lower than Uber, though it has to be paid in cash to the driver. Their breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Overall we had a very good experience with this hotel. We highly recommend it.
