Helpful staff all round. The gentlemen on reception were pleasant and gave advice about places to eat. Staff on breakfast were helpful, attentive to supply and pleasant. The lady who cleaned the room was no different! Located a few minutes from the Train Station and about five from the Colosseum. The Hotel is on the fifth floor and has only one "cage" lift. So access is a consideration if you have health issues. Access to the lift is up a short flight of stairs (4?). The room was large with a double and a single bed. Bed was comfortable with good pillows. Room was lean with a tiled floor. Air-conditioning provided and it worked! Fridge provided and it worked. Shower room looked like it had been refurbished recently and looked well but was tight room for one at a time. When booking ask for a room to the front looking out over the piazza.

I stayed here with some friends and we really enjoyed it! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel is right off the metro line so it is very convenient to get to the hot spots of Rome. One note - if you're afraid of elevators, this one is old fashioned and kind of scary and is supposed to hold only 3 people, so you would have to climb to the 5th floor where the hotel is if that's not your cup of tea.

Fresh off the train from Florence we had to rely heavily on Google maps to find the location of this hotel. It was quite far outside the centre of Rome which made it difficult to reach but on the flip side, also meant it was quite quiet at night. The hotel sign was quite small and easy to miss and the hotel was on the 5th floor ONLY of a large building. Luckily there was a lift, however it was old fashioned and small - picture tower of terror style with a manual gate and door that needs to be opened and closed and moves approximately 2mph! The room was very minimal and very dated. There was a foldaway double bed and two foldaway single beds. The bathroom was also very dated. Really, the entire hotel needed a complete revamp. There was a minibar with 3 items but these had to be paid for, however you could buy your own things and use the fridge. Breakfast was an additional €5 each but we decided to avoid this and eat elsewhere. The staff were friendly enough and offered advice when requested. Due to the our dislike, distance and location of the hotel, we decided to stay in Rome from morning to night as it was a fair distance going back and forth to room you didn't want to be in. It was relatively close to a metro but with the aid of Google maps, we managed to find and get everywhere we needed to. There is also an additional tax to pay at the end of your stay at this hotel and they will not take card payments for this.

Hotel Orazia was a decent Stay while in Rome. It's very close to Termini station so that was a plus. The hotel is located in a bit of a shady area but the hotel itself is located in a nice building. Upon check-in, Luciano was very delightful to speak to. He was friendly, knowledgeable of Rome city center, and professional. The rooms were clean and spacious and had a view of the park across the street. It is a little far from the city center but Uber's are easy to get. The hotel does NOT provide an airport shuttle. They will provide a number to a taxi service. Personally, an Uber is the same amount of Euro and will arrive a lot quicker. Overall, it was an ok stay.

If you not fussy it's a good stop for a night. The room was silent and slept well. They serve simple but good breakfast. It's not far from streets that you can shop and have nice dinner. It's value for the money.

We visited for my birthday in May 2017. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. We were given keys to our room before it was ready for us but we popped back to reception and they sorted it immediately. The hotel is really really easy to find - Termini station is a 10 minute walk via a nice park and just round the corner is Vittorio Emmanuele Metro station which connects you to the city. The Colosseum is within walking distance and there are bars and restaurants en route. We didn't actually use public transport that often for our visit as it was a nice walk from the Colosseum to the hotel. The room was light and airy, we had a hair dryer, bidet, air conditioning and a lovely view of the park along with free wifi. Breakfast was €5 per person per day and included sliced meats, cheeses and bread, yoghurts, juice, coffee, pastries, fruits and cereals. There are no English channels on the television and it's quite small but this didn't matter to us at all. The room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels provided regularly. The hotel is in a building with multiple floors - reception is on the 5th floor and the other floors are businesses and residences. There is a lift which I would recommend using because the floors are marble and there are three flights of stairs per floor! Overall, a lovely stay in a fantastic area.

This hotel is situated a 2 minute walk from Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station, (stop before Termini if you are travelling from Ciampino airport) Upon arrival you take the wonderfully quaint lift to the 5th floor reception. We were greeted by the manager who was extremely friendly and helpful, one of the ladies served us with tea and coffee whilst we were checking in. All of the staff on reception were very helpful especially with tips on the best times to visit certain places. They all spoke good English which was very good as my Italian is very limited. One of the reasons we chose the hotel was because of the breakfast and it did not disappoint!! There was a good selection including cereals, breads, cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurts and a range of teas, coffees and fruit juices. The ladies who attended at breakfast were wonderful and very friendly and they ensured that all food was replenished and there were sufficient supplies to meet all requirements. The breakfast room was spotlessly clean and the table cloths were freshly washed and pressed. The view from the breakfast room overlooking the park was lovely. The bedrooms were immaculate and cleaned very thoroughly with plenty of towels, toiletries and pillows. The hotel was the icing on the cake for my first visit to Rome and was so central to Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum and other sites. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent, I often don't get this good a connection in the UK!! I would recommend this hotel very highly to anyone visiting Rome, and we felt safe in the area and there were lots of amenities including a supermarket a few doors down the street. I am Looking forward to going back again next year due to this wonderful experience, thank you so much to all the staff at this great hotel.

Orazia has a splendid location, easy to reach and convenient for all types of city trips, if you look for sth comfortable and in good price. The room was clean and tidy, everything we needed was there. Breakfasts are nice, with tasty bread, cheese, olives and joghurt. The hotel staff is very polite an helpful. Special thanks to Fernando who is always ready to provide assistance, whether with hotel information, transfer or anything else. We enjoyed our stay in Orazia very much, though the room view lacked excitement;-). We would recommend the Orazia hotel to anyone who is planning a tourist stay in the beautiful Rome. Plus an amazing lift:-)!

Orazia hotel stays close to Termini, which helped a lot when starting and ending our trip to Rome. The hotel itself is in the fifth floor ==> the noice of traffic is low. Our room was tidy and we found the frigde there. Breakfast was tolerable containing yoghourt, coffee, corn flakes, white bread, fruit, juice and so on, but everyday vegetables. However, good start for the day.

I loved the room as it was not facing the road and it was quiet during nights and mornings. The room was clean and tidy and it had all the necessities. The personnel was amazing and very child-friendly.
