My wife and I planned a 30th wedding anniversary trip. We stayed 5 days at Hotel Eden. This is the now the best hotel in Rome. Like a lot of travelers, I did some research and knew the top hotels in Rome. Since we are Andrew Harper, we had some strong recommendations. Furthermore, I wanted to look deeper into what made each hotel better than the next. But I was looking for something that set my choice of hotel apart from the others. While the Hotel Eden had great service, outstanding location, spectacular rooms, delicious restaurants and bars there was something that stood out better than all the rest. This special something makes the Eden the best of the best in Rome hotels. For me, the hotel manager Luca Virgilio is that special something. Six months before I booked the hotel, I noticed that when his hotel was reviewed, whether strongly positive or positive, he responded. He truly cared and wanted each stay to be an outstanding visit. It was clear that he was on top of everything in this hotel. When we arrived Luca Virgilio was away in the United States. But he still contacted us to welcome us. His concierge staff and assistants greeted us with first class service. If you're a discerning traveler, you know it is difficult to surprise you. They surprised us with some "special" items on and around our anniversary. The staff called us by name, greeted us at every turn, offered assistance yet allowed us the privacy of a hotel stay. It was incredible. I had the opportunity to speak to the bartender at the rooftop bar one evening. I met Mr. Virgilio's assistant, the check in staff, the concierge staff. They all expressed that they loved their job, they loved working for Mr. Virgilio and loved the Eden in particular. Michela and Antonio were two people that we met that were absolutely lovely and kind. I asked one of the women at the check in counter to marry one of my sons. They made us feel part of their happy family at the Eden! This shows up in your stay. I look forward to someday returning to the Eden. It is a great place.

Loved eating at Il Giardino, one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever been to. Our wine and cocktails were perfect. Lived the tuna tartar. One great thing about the restaurant is that it offers raw dishes as well as a full range of meat, chicken, and Italian cuisine.

We loved 💕the service, location, beauty and comfort! Full luxury experience from check in, to turndown service! They recently had renovations. As a luxury travel planner in Los Angeles, this is my #1 pick for Rome!

We were recommended this hotel for a drink. Having been to a few bars in Rome with “city views” nothing compared to this. The staff were lovely. We got loads of nibbles which were delicious!!! The drink is not cheap but a must when in Rome.

Eden is the best hotel in Rome. The service is spectacular, through and through. The attention to detail is really impressive. The rooms are fantastic. The restaurants on the roof top are amazing with great views over Rome. The hotel was recently renovated and only re-opened in April 2017. That really shows. Everything is really new and modern. Great job! We’ll be back.

The Hotel Eden is an exceptional hotel, staff is helpful and friendly, the location is wonderful. However, be prepared to pay luxury hotel prices for everything. I arrived at 10:00A.M to police and Italian secret service everywhere. Several dignitaries were at the hotel so this made my registration fascinating. You can tell the hotel handles these types of situations all the time. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady and helpful staff who quickly guided me to registration and away from all the security. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful, polite and focused on making sure my stay was the best possible. She was able to provide me a room immediately with a nice view. After a long flight this was a great way to start my trip. The young lady who helped with my registration showed me to my room along with showing me where items were located, how to use the iPad and took her time helping answer several questions for me. This is a very nice touch and helpful. The Hotel Eden has just recently been completely refurbished and updated. My room had all the latest technology one has come to expect from high end hotels. Plan on using the iPad provided to handle everything from lights to laundry. Was very nice to have 110 outlets in the bathroom and bedroom. My room was located on the 4th floor (room 411) with a nice view of the park across the street. The room and bathroom are very spacious with plenty of closet space to store all my clothing etc. The king size was very comfortable, and I must find out where to buy the sheets they were the softest sheets I have ever slept on. Location of the hotel is excellent. In Rome you tend to walk everywhere. I was approximately ½ mile from the Spanish Steps, 1.2 miles from the Colosseum, less than a mile to Trevi Fountain, and very close to all of the shopping that is available in Rome. The view from the 6th floor is spectacular and is a must. Unfortunately, I did not get to have dinner at La Terrazza due to my schedule, however did have breakfast once at the hotel which was nice, however very expensive. I suggest do as the Romans find a nice café order an espresso and pastry for breakfast which I did every day. My compliments to the bar staff. One night I asked for a port which was wonderful, however due to the age of the port and the fact they were getting to the bottom of the bottle there was sentiment (not uncommon with old wines, ports, etc) When the bartender saw this he was appalled he served me this delicious old port and insisted on not charging me. Was a nice gesture considering there wasn’t that much sentiment and they had given me a large pour to begin with. A nice last touch by the hotel upon check out they provided me at no charge transportation to the other hotel I was staying at for the remaining few days of my trip. Conclusion: If you have the means the Hotel Eden is a fantastic hotel to experience and stay at. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are refurbished, good sized and very comfortable and quiet.

We started our European trip with our arrival into beautiful Rome and our stay at the newly refurbished Hotel Eden. What an experience. Hotel is so luxurious but in a very stylish and classy way. Check in perfect. Room so comfortable and beautifully furnished. Bathroom perfect. Staff perfect. Location perfect. Hotel dining and bar on the Rooftop is divine. Food amazing and the outlook /view beyond parallel. And to top this all, the staff were so accommodating and so helpful. In fact I would say they went beyond all expectations. Thank you Hotel Eden. We cannot wait to return.

Stayed there over Christmas great decorations. Our room was superb. The morning breakfast was awesome Food was great for every day Need to go to bar every moment. Best views of the city I have ever seen. Views and photos of Vatican are the best Close to Spanish steps Service and staff are over the top

This newly-renovated property is absolutely gorgeous and so thoughtfully done. The décor is beautiful and every detail is addressed including number, location and type of electrical outlets. Service was impeccable. Location is a great, just a 10-minute walk to the Spanish Steps.

If you're considering staying in Rome don't even think about staying anywhere else but in hotel Eden. New luxury hotel has a perfect location and great value for money. Rooms are just lovely, marble bathrooms and all nessesary cosmetics inside. The staff is well trained and ready to fullfill your every wish. For sure best hotel in Rome!
