My first experience of the Congressi was the welcome from the staff - it was excellent, Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The property is 60 years old and has some charming features. My room was a little small for a 15 day stop but was clean and simply furnished without frills. The bar and restaurant are very good, excellent choice of wine - the 35 euro fixed menu is great value, the food of the highest standard. Breakfast was absolutely perfect for me. I had a few small problems, all were resolved very quickly - even my TV was reprogramed to English channels. My only complaints are the rooms are hot - the air conditioning is not switched on until later in the year and the bar staff can be a little rude. For my purpose the location was perfect - 100 meters from my work base with access to the Metro and Bus routes. Would I stay again - definitely, in 2019 hopefully. Although next time I will ask for a larger room which is not so cramped. 9/10 - very happy.
I recently visited the Hotel and was combined. Easy to Access from Metro EUR Firmi. Very Friendly staff well equipped rooms ans at least very Clean and tidy for a very reasonable Price. The Gym is small but equipped with brandnew equipment...nice View included.
It is definitely for a business purpose hotel, and surprisingly my laundry was late upon my checkout. I had to come back to hotel after check out for a laundry... thank god my work was nearby. Breakfast is ok, room is roomy and clean. Gym has few cardio machines and one set of barbell with bench. I heard my company paid like 160 euro per night, to be honest it feels little expensive.
First, this hotel is in southern Rome, in the EUR historic and business district - this both provides the quiet of "suburbs" but also means a 20-30 minute train ride in to the Old City. Located in and around a number of neighborhoods, it has easy access to a number of local shops, restaurants, and the similar services that cater to business people in the area and those that live nearby. Second, the hotel itself has all of the modern amenities, a superb restaurant (and breakfast), and delightful bar. Both car and taxi service is readily available to and from the hotel, and car hire is available two doors away at a local Hertz. Guests are a 5-10 minute walk from the Metro (EUR Fermi). It is good to remember that being in a neighborhood, there are rush hour effects on the train at the times one would expect. That said, it is entirely possible to catch the early trains and have a simple ride, with necessary transfers, to be at any early tour one might choose if touring Rome. Lastly, this is a "go to" hotel for many business people in the area - as it is for myself. Friendly, competent staff that deliver known and reliable service. Accordingly, there are conference and meeting rooms available. The location is off the beaten path - which means considerable cost savings, quiet, and local flavor, but requires visitors to be willing to engage a bit in the local transportation infrastructure or pay for taxi service.
Visited this hotel for one night, it a very small hotel with a bar and breakfast room. The room is small but clean with good wifi m. Breakfast was a good choice for food. It's located 20 minutes walk from the underground.
i stayed for 3 days in the hotel, our meeting where in the area so it was good. however, if you want to go to central Rome you need around 30 minutes. the hotel is not far away from the subway, and from there you can get to the center. good breakfast, fresh coffee from the bar, and you can enjoy squeezing your own fresh orange juice.
Strange neigbourhood.. not finished! Just a strange feeling walking there If You need to be in the area this is a good place to sleep. Ik dont know What kind of people book here that need hygiëne stuff for intimite parts in the shower but who cares! Couse i sleept good! Small elevator, annoying stairs but a Great breakfast be sure to Read the sign on the table to GO Tot The Bar for a cappuccino or a café con leche etc. You can take it outside and smoke, Nice and quite in the moring on Nice terras covered from sun etc i was happy. Service and kind ppl.
The hotel was very nice and the staff was helpful. Asked the receptionist for directions and she explained it really well and even printed directions off for us just in case. Breakfast and wifi were very good! A bit farther from central Rome but easy to access.
This is a solid 3 star, maybe 3.25. We came for a concert at nearby Palolottomattica and would stay again for this purpose. Breakfast was good to great in our opinion. Fresh squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs and other traditional Italian fare. Hotel staff helpful. Rooms and bathrooms small but clean and they worked fine. We liked the floor mat at each bedside, 2 free bottles of water in the small fridge, wall plugs at bedside for electronics, elevator that works well. Air conditioning isn’t robust. Maybe you leave the AC on when away from the room? Just leave a key in the electric switch. Wifi good when it was good. See Ookla readings below. Hotel easy walk from subway station and bus stop. Easy to get into central Rome and back – and very economically with no parking hassle. If walking to Palolottomattica: when walking to the venue from the hotel, you are facing the venue’s back door and you must get around to the front door on the opposite side. We took the long way around. Walk home much easier. Suggest you allow 30 minutes to get from your room to the proper gate in front of the venue. We had three rooms on the 5th floor. No particular problems.
