Visited end of July. Small but clean and central hotel. Linen and towels freshly changed daily. Staff are very helpful too. Rooms airconditioned and have free wi-fi. Mini markets souvenir shops metro and restaurants are all within walking distance. Highly recommended.
A simple hotel in the city center with a great view and very nice service! Clean and cheap but not for a long stay, I would say. Perfect for 1/2 nights in Rome. Rooms are small but all the necessaries are presented.
This is a nice, impeccably clean, budget-friendly hotel right in the heart of ancient Rome. A few steps from the front door is the magnificent Colosseum, the Vittorio Emmanuelle monolith and the Forum to name very few. What more can you ask for when staying in the eternal city? It is easy to walk to ALL the main sites from here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had loads of questions and they set us straight immediately. The rooms are small but clean and well-appointed. The Wifi is fast, continuous and free. Why pay for a luxury suite when you will be out and about all day every day anyway? There are numerous eateries nearby, and the best part is the tiny coffee shop a few metres away where you can stand and have your morning espresso with the locals. Bliss.
Perfect Location opposite from forum romanum and very close to the colosseum. Very quiet rooms to the back - the ones facing the forum provide a great view but are a bit noisy if you want to sleep with open windows. Very nice staff - no breakfast available but they provide advice about nice places nearby. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Just avoid the bar opposite the main entrance - they are a rip off! Rooms provide enough space and have larger bathrooms compared to others in Rome.
As regular travellers, but first timer visitors to Rome - we (family) recently stayed for 5 nights at this hotel and could not fault it in anyway. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The room we were given had a small patio area that provided enough room for our little boy to run around in. The staff were always friendly and smiling, acting above and beyond the usual expectation on numerous occasions. The hotel itself is in the perfect, centralised location, a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum / forum / Palatine hill (with a view of them the second you step outside the door). Most other tourist attractions of note are no more than a maximum of 3-4km away - an easy walk with lots of interesting side streets to explore. We did experience a very minor issue with receiving wifi in our room, but as soon as we mentioned it to the reception they remedied the situation instantly. The next time we visit Rome, this will be the first hotel we will look up!
The staff were so friendly and helpful at the hotel. It is in the perfect location, the Colosseum is a 5 minute walk behind the hotel, the hop on hop off bus stop just past the Colosseum. It is clean and very quiet.
Rooms are very clean, very good for weekend holidays, there is enough space for 2 for short trips. It is a pleasure to sleep in a quiet, modern, clean hotel in a centre. I would recommend this for business trips or for weekend-get- a-ways for friends and couples. Very nice location, close to almost everything in Romes centre. Modern hotel, with silent rooms: no noise in here.
Location is perfect 2 mins from Coliseum! Rooms spotless and great reception staff. Only negative is the shower flooding as already mentioned. Also worth noting they don't provide breakfast when it's out of season
Stayed at this hotel in February 2015 for three nights. Lovely stay staff very friendly excellent service great room can't wait to go back, breakfast continental. Very good , room very large and clean. Great area to stay , very central to get around and view the top spots to visit.
The entrance is literally a hole in the wall, so I may have had trouble finding it myself but the cab driver knew where it was. There were good things and bad things here. First impression was of a neat and tidy room but with a very strong damp, and musty smell. The renovating and redecorating looked to be a little bit of a DYI job but it was functional and I guess added to the character of the place. The shower curtain and strange drainage system was ridiculous and did not function very well at all, so by the time a shower of any length was completed the whole bathroom floor was covered in water. The location of the hotel is its real selling point, it is literally around the corner from the colloseum. The biggest problem was the very poor WiFi. This was an ongoing problem the whole stay, the best signal was when I sat outside, which in Summer and in the evening is fine, at other times of the year this could be very tiresome. Would I stay there again? Possibly.
