The (virtual?) staff were attentive and the room was small, but clean. Best part was the bubbly water dispenser in the shared kitchen area. I had been missing ours at home.

Lovely room with good AC. Good facilities in the shared area, fridge, coffee machine, teas etc, sparkling water machine also. Great sea view from the scared balcony. Great central location near to the beach, lovely street of restaurants. Check in was easy enough using WhatsApp instructions. I would say that some kind of ‘do not disturb/clean my room’ system would be good so the cleaner doesn’t knock on the door in the morning. Friendly staff though and happy to help.

There’s a lot of stores and restaurants in walking distance, which was very nice! The view from the balcony was beautiful. We started our trip to Italy here and stayed again the last night.

It's An Apartment

This is an apartment that has been converted into an AirBnB with the bedrooms as the "hotel" room. So the balance of the apartment is common area. The apartment is very nice and well-located, next to the outdoor shopping and restaurant area. The automatic entry works great - make sure you read ALL the info.

The property was great it was in a good location the view was amazing. The downfall is the area around the property was extremely dirty. There was trash everywhere, I was afraid to walk on the beach barefoot as there was so much trash and broken glass. There was also a lot of remodeling going on and lots of wall banging early in the morning. The staff was not on site and the communication was done all via the WhatsApp. They were very prompt but I never met anyone in person.

We had an excellent time at this guest house. The way to open the gate and apartment door was a little tricky to figure out at first but you get sent a link and then you press the door bell and click on the button to the door on your phone. Once you get it figured out it’s easy. We were one minute late while checking out and the link no longer worked to exit the property gate so make sure you give yourself some time to get out before the link expires. The room was clean and nice and had a great view. The WiFi was excellent and very fast. The communication with the staff was great we used WhatsApp. Just know if you book a ride from the airport you will need to pay the driver when he drops you off. I misunderstood and thought that the staff would pay them and we would just get it charged to the room. But he accepted my card with a 5€ extra charge so it was fine. There’s tons of things to do nearby and everything is so easily walkable. Such a beautiful city and everything is so close to the room! Also, it’s a private room in a shared apartment with other guests but you get a key to your own room and then you share a dining area. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Ostia! We loved it and had an amazing time.
