The location was great for walking to all the historical sites. The room and bath were clean and the bed was comfortable. But the furnishing were minimal and cramped. Although our room faced the main street it was quiet. The included breakfast was fine and the coffee was strong. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were initially put off by the plain character of the room, but its convenience to the Termini and historical sites overcame our initial disappointment.

Bought this room as a pre-packaged "family" room, and was assured there would be two separate sleeping areas along with a crib for our baby girl. Upon arrival, we were shown a normal size room with three mattresses and barely any room for a crib, which wasn't there despite assurances in writing that it would be. The room is spartan, the bathroom was falling apart, and we basically all had to sleep on bad mattresses on a dirty floor all in one room that was way too small. The manager, who refused to give a refund, admitted there were failings but said "it's only for one night." When the manager's comment about a bad accommodation is "it's only for one night" you know things are terrible. How many nights would it take for it to matter? I don't want to suffer through even one night, much less many. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It barely merits the two stars it has.

Great price and very good location, close to all major attractions! Stayed for 3 nights, staff were friendly and breakfast was simple but decent! We had a clean room that had everything we needed for our stay.

We arrived at the hotel, which we had booked several weeks before, to learn that they would not honor our reservation and had instead booked us at another hotel, which we later found out was 1/3 of the price. The hotel was totally unacceptable, with a room that smelled unbearable, stained and broken furniture and a dirty bathroom. To add insult to injury, the hotel didn't even pay the new hotel as they said they would, and refused to reimburse us or compensate us in any way. We are completely outraged.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is just perfect, you can do everything on foot (10min to the Coliseum). The room was ok but no view. The tv didn't work that well, only 2 or 3 channels were working. Internet was ok when it worked: by night you won't have Wi-Fi, guess it is when everybody is at the hotel and when everybody is using it! Breakfast was poor and you really have to improve it: no fruit, no ham or cheese, and if you go a little bit later there is no more food and it take long to the employees to put more pastries and bread! For your money this place is worth it but do not expect any luxury or excellent services! Can do better.

8 out of 10 because 2 point down AC is not work never clean up even winter....We were there 25 oct no fan...We are Thai hot country we can open windows but noise from out side....every things is perfect except THis....Staff Manager or Owner was awesome!!!

Exept the fat and rude lady at the entrance of the building.... everything else was wonderful! Very clean rooms, very kind people, hot water all the time... The area is really good, near everything you need, you can see a beustiful church from the windows (at least i did...).

The Everest Inn is the perfect location for the travler who is planning on going out and exploring the city. Not ideal for someone looking for luxury and louning around at the Hotel. The Everest Inn is a 10 minute walk from Termini station where you can catch a bus to either airport. It's less than 5 minutes to the metro station that takes you around the outskits of Rome. Located on a main shopping street, Via Nazionale, You can walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, etc. The hotel is on the 3rd floor, but there is a small elevator that can take one person and her suitcase at a time. There is someone at the front desk 24h. The room was tiny, but again, I only wanted a place to sleep and shower, so it was sufficient for that. Great airconditioning by the way. Very important because it was 34C outside! Breakfast was modest: bread, pasteries, cereal and yougurt. The coffee machine was available 24h. Overall, I found the Everest Inn to be clean, pleasant, confortable, well located and cheap.

The hotel is located on a main shopping street, 5mins from the main train station (or 30mins by taxi from airport). it's a 10min walk to the Colosseum, a 15min walk to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain and a 20min walk from the Pantheon. The rooms are small but clean, the hotel staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was what you would expect - coffee, juice, water, tea, pastries, bread rolls, yoghurts, cereal. Perfect for a budget trip to Rome. The only negative for me is that the hotel seems to have put a £170 pre-authorisation against my card, I came home 4 days ago and this still hasn't been released! Very annoying!

Great hotel location. Less than 5mins walk to the nearest metro station and about 10 to 15mins walk to Roma Termini! There is a lady at the level 1, not sure whether she is the guard for the whole building or what, she is quite fierce though lol! Got "scolded" by her when we first arrived cos we didnt know how to operate the lift. The breakfast provided by the hotel is simple but delicious! Love their bread so much!! Even my friend who is totally not a bread lover fell in love with the bread! The reception people are nice too except for one particular lady who doesnt seems very happy with us. LOL. Think we are the only asians staying there at that period? Every morning when we are having breakfast, she seems to be always looking out at us but when other guests came to have their breakfast, she will still greet them. Weird though but doesnt matter, the other reception people (the 2 guys and 1 young lady) are super nice! =) Still highly recommend to stay here! =)
