EcoHotel Roma was our first stop on our 10-day Italy trip. It's located away from the noise and chaos of the city, but the hotel offers free shuttles to several different locations throughout Rome and there are bus stops just a short walk away, too. Within walking distance are several wonderful restaurants, including Ristorante L'altro Sostegno, which I I highly recommend, and a couple excellent spots for gelato. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We were grateful for the bathtub after long days of walking around Rome! Breakfast each morning was excellent and truly offered something for everyone -- a selection of about a dozen different cakes and pastries, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, jams and jellies, pizza, breads, cheeses, eggs, and of course caffe and cappuccino. There are several beautiful places to enjoy breakfast, including an outdoor seating area. The hotel staff was so helpful and friendly and happily answered all of our questions about navigating Italy. There are bikes you can borrow, too!

A very nice hotel. Lovely staff and they speak very good English and French. Even though it is located a little bit far from the center of Rome, the free shuttle is very useful. The hotel is also very close to three bus lines that go to the center of Rome. The breakfast is tasty, and the capuccino is delicious. Highly recommended !

We stayed for 2 days and we greatly appreciated the quality of accomodation. Nice breakfast, friendly and informal reception, beautiful position (well conntected to the centre) in a very green area. You can have a shuttle and bikes for free, as well as free parking in the hotel.

Perfect Hotel for Perfect Trip, all Staff friendly and very helpfull. Room is clean nice and quiete. Busstop 200 m in both Side, Drivetime to Vatikan 15 min Breakfast was also very good,if me travel Rome again,me sure i take this Hotel.

Very clean, friendly staff, quiet location with garden and veranda. Good breakfast. Free shuttle service into town. Bus stops and good restaurants close by. I can absolutely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again upon my next trip to Rome.

A great little hotel for a visit to Rome. The hotel is a little way out of the centre of Rome but it's very easy to get into town either by bus or by using the excellent shuttle service which runs in the morning and afternoon to 5 separate locations in the city. The rooms are great, and very comfortable, we both had a good nights sleep each night after long and active days sightseeing in Rome. There was a wide variety of food available for breakfast each morning, to set us up for the day. Lastly but not least all the staff were very friendly, extremely helpful and made our stay a wonderful couple of days. We will certainly be back.

Hotel is indeed a bit out of the main city but that is the only negative. The staff were absolutely brilliant, polite and effective, they gave us their top tips every time we asked and were very helpful. The room (Junior Suite Economy) was very spacious and the mini jacuzzi in the bath was a plus! Great after a long day of touring Rome. Everything in the hotel was immaculate and clean, and had a very modern feel to it. The breakfast was superb, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, boiled eggs were the hot options, while multiple pastries, cereal, juice, biscuits and cakes were aplenty. A coffee machine was there to fulfill all our needs too. There is a decent sized supermarket (Todis) roughly 5-10 minute walk too, and a few decent local restaurants The shuttle bus was a major bonus. Serving from 9.30am-12.30pm in the morning run, and 6.30-9.30pm in the evening run, it could take you to and from 5 different stops within the city, all at the major tourist spots like the Vatican City and the center Piazza Navona. You could book it via reception the night before, or even text the driver on his whatsapp (number was provided) half an hour before needing a lift and the shuttle (8 passengers minivan) would be there. If travel was required outwith the shuttle operating timings, then multiple buses were just outside the doorstep to take you to the destination. Overall, I was very impressed with the facilities and service provided versus the value, and would definitely be visiting again!

Stayed with a family of four, we'd booked a family room and was pleasantly surprised to find it had two separate bedrooms within, one with a double bed (and balcony) the other two singles. The rooms were clean, spacious, good bathroom and shower. The hotel staff were lovely, extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The free shuttle is very useful, we used it to get into Rome, it has several drop off points you select which one when booking. Returning back we found bus H was always reliable and often caught it at Trastevere near Pont Garibaldi, it took approx 20 - 25 mins and tickets can be purchased directly from the hotel. This is a great hotel and don't worry about it being situated a little distance from the centre getting back and forth is no hassle. Would definitely stay again.

It was a perfect hotel for our 7 days visit in Rome. Friendly and helpfull Staff, clean rooms A good breakfast every morning in the quiet garden , and then the excellent shuttle service bringing us close to the centre of Rome. The location is good, after a busy day in Rome, returning to the quiet hotel.
